Useless key fob
They sold me a key fob that was a used key fob already programed to another vehicle. This programing can not be reversed. There the key fob is useless.

Worked perfectly.
Found a locksmith that I had previously used to program a key fob, and he did the programming in about 15 minutes. Dealer wanted >&275 for a key and programming.

Did not work on my Lincoln MKX. Ended up returning it and buying one from the stealer.... way too expensive.

90% identical
Top=OEM Bottom= Generic As you can tell they are nearly identical except for the lincoln logo on the back. I like the ease of removing the key on the Generic. It's a little looser so it open up easier compared to the OEM. Pros and Cons of each but I hope to find a way to program them for cheap as I only have one now and you need two working fobs to program a third.
