Forces: Physical Science for Kids (Picture Book Science) Review: Dad thinks the science isn't outstanding, but daughter loves it - The language level, illustrations, and chatty and fun presentation delighted my daughter and made her more eager than I could have imagined to read about forces, energy, matter and waves (the whole series). So, what do I know. The science concepts seem to me to be presented very approximately, and I'm not sure that some of the wittiness (for example, mixing the scientific concept of matter with the use of matter in an expression that one doesn't attach importance to something (it doesn't matter to me)) would only confuse kids. All appreciation to the author for getting into the mindset of kids better than I ever could. Review: A wonderful book for kids. - Kids love science. A good book for that.

Love this Book!
I really enjoy this book. This book explains forces in an easy-to-follow and fun way that will keep them fascinated. This educational tool can captivate the interest of young learners and teach them about the wonders of science. Although it may be a little expensive, it is definitely worth it. I plan to gift this book to my preschool classroom. I am confident that the children will love this book and will get a lot out of it. It good to introduce children to science at a young age and this book will do just that! 10/10 would recommend.

Great science book for kids!
I really enjoyed reading this book to my six-year old daughter. It really put things in perspective for her on what forces are, and just how much we use them on a daily basis.

It's an OK book, not great, just OK. There are better choices
In order to introduce a topic like forces to young children, a book needs to be entertaining and follow a logical progression of ideas. This book attempts to do this but does not. An example of this is when it jumps from gravity, to magnetism, and then to balanced and unbalanced forces. It's OK, but just OK. There's better out there.
