Excellent Folding Shelf Brackets! I recently installed the Sumnacon Sturdy Folding Shelf Brackets in my garage workshop, and I couldn't be happier with them. These brackets are robust and well-designed, perfect for supporting heavy shelves. The installation was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided. These are strong, well made with nice finish and low price. There’s no slop or looseness. I used a pair of these for a shelf that was about 10” deep and 15” wide. Could work on a shelf somewhat larger. My shelf will easily hold 20 pounds although it’s for holding much less weight such as cooking things that are occasionally used. Shelf stays down most of the time.

Great folding brackets. These are VERY solid. I like that the do not look as utilitarian as others I have seen. Pretty easy mounting. The really do work great. The trigger to lower the table works great and is very easy to activate. I used these in my RV to add on a cutting board to the countertop. Works excellent.

I have a small apartment, and wanted to install a little folding table that I can use for meals, and that I could tuck away if I needed the extra space. I have it in drywall with x12 3/16th toggle bolts. Installation was simple, though pretty involved. NOT the fault of the brackets, it's just challenging (for someone who is handy but rarely does this kind of thing) to get all the measurements right. I managed decently though, like you can see in the pictures. Check out that level!! Not bad. Quality of the brackets is solid, they work exactly as intended with absolutely minimal give. The give could well be because of the dry wall installation. The lever "locks" lock in pretty sturdy, definitely good enough for my application. I had my legs up on the table last night and it was sturdy, I put my weight against it as well and it's just fine. Don't know if these would be good for a work bench where you're hammering (just have no idea, though I think they would be very loud for that and the table might jump up) but for at least my kind of simple small application, it's great.

Overall I thought this product was such a cool project to add to my place of work. We have a very small closet for our operation and needed a very small workspace to make quick repairs and this helped me create a small table that can pop up and go back down. - This product does not come with any hardware. But that’s probably for the best as you typically don’t want to use hardware that comes with these items due to bad quality. - You can secure any piece of wood to it or maybe even metal if you really wanted to and had the tools. Make sure you finish your wood top completely (sanding, painting, etc) before attaching to the hardware. I got my piece of wood from home depot for barely any money making this a pretty cheap project. May even be able to find a free piece of wood from the scrap bin. - LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. YOU WILL NEED A DRILL BIT EXTENDER TO SECURE THIS TO THE WALL! I wasn’t sure if I believed the reviews but you absolutely do. But most still not sets come with one so it was not a big deal for me. But if you don’t have that, you will have a tricky time getting it on the wall. It works really well and I’m glad I gave this a shot. If you have the necessary tools and a tiny bit of patience, test it out.

Built a little shelf for the side of my wife's night stand. This is exactly what was needed to do that easily and give her something that is simple to raise and lower! Yes, sturdy. Yes, easy to lock in place. Yes, easy to unlock and drop the shelf down!

Love this product. Works perfectly. Used it as a foot rest. Seems strong enough. Probably not strong enough to sit on but is as described.
