I really like that it comes with an attachable USB-A adapter that fits over the USB-C male plug. This allows me to use this hub with both my laptop’s USB-A ports as well as my phone’s USB-C port. I tested it first with my laptop by connecting 3x USB thumb drives, my MP3 player which uses a normal USB port, my phone to the USB-C port and a pair of headphones in the audio output jack (I’ll get to the audio jack later). I also used it to connect a keyboard, a mouse and 3x USB thumb drives (one of them can use a USB-C port). I didn’t use the SD card slots though because the only SD cards I have are in my phone & MP3 player and removing them and inserting them back again can be a pain. All seemed to work well and the transfer speeds were fine and weren’t slowed down by the device, even when transferring from one USB thumb drive to another. Of course, the USB 3.0 port is your best bet when transferring large files from the source to a thumb drive. Now for the audio output jack, you might have to adjust the sound enhancements for this device like I had to do. For my laptop I had to use the Bass Boost & Loudness Equalization enhancements. I also had to change the settings for the Enhancement Properties and boost the 150 Hz or 175 Hz Frequencies by 24 dB. Without these adjustments the audio sounded horrible, it was too loud with some clipping and there was way too much high end (treble) with no bass whatsoever. With these adjustments, the audio sounded just fine, not much different from my laptop’s own audio output jack. It may be different for other devices (laptops, computers, tablets, phones etc.) so you may have to play around with the settings in order to correct the issue so it sounds good. If you don’t know how to adjust the sound settings for audio output devices or headphones (mine is under Headphone Properties when this device is connected) then you may not want to use the headphone jack. Other than the audio jack issue, this is a really great hub that will allow you to connect plenty of various devices via USB & USB-C to your main device like a laptop, computer, tablet, phone etc. Plus the USB-C port can be used for charging your phone and other chargeable devices.

This item is very compact and has multiple ports. It is very easy to use. It was shipped securely. It works as described and is very sturdy. The rotation helps a lot in tight spaces like cars and is very flexible. Edit: this was delivered July 9th. 5 days after receiving this product, it stopped working. It stopped rotating as much and springs back a bit. It had a little light turned on when it was plugged in, but it doesn’t do that anymore. My dad had it in his car since it is labeled cars as a use. When he went to work, it was fine, and when he got to work it wasn’t working anymore. We tested it in many plugs with different things plugged in and nothing. After we declared it dead, we opened it to see if there was anything obviously wrong (we aren’t very techy people) and there wasn’t anything wrong. It just stopped working. We also realized that whenever he unplugged it in the morning it was warm, and same as when I unplugged it much later in the day. It only had one or two things plugged in and has 4 ports. If it can’t take two, it DEFINITELY cannot take 4. Overall I’d just like to say to save your money if you feel like the same may happen to you. Although it does feel like it’s good quality, we were mistaken.

Mine was broken, but their product does work itself. Mine was just defective and I didn't want to replace it, just refunded.

Worked for 2 months like another review mentioned, wanted to give it a try for the price it was alright but just recently my microphone stopped working. Unfortunately for me it took quite a bit of time for me to figure out it was because of this usb hub, and I put it in a hard to get to place so I had to take apart my desk and take everything off the top of the desk to diagnose the problem, went with usb extensions instead.
