Bending , but in a good way . prefers thin metals and you might need to upgrade the clamps
works well , but it takes a bit of practice. Instructions would have been helpful

Does the job BUT has no in-built locking for break bar
Seens sturdy enough during a test bend of a copper plate. The feet coukd be wider for better stability and to soread yhe liad on the bench. The biggest issue is that the pressure plate is just a loose item. Where other brakes have clamping screws through the pressure pkate, this one relies on you coming up with your own method of clamping it down. This can lead to either a) a reduction in the width of material it can handle to make room for the clamps at the sides or b) the pressure plate moving as you clamp it down and thus not betting aligned for the bend.Surely or would not have killed the manufacturer to drill and tap the body and the pressure plate and provide lock down screws? That's the first thing I am going to have to do to make it properly useable, otherwise accuracy will be very hit and miss.Would I recommend it?Well, if you want a cheap unit for one of or very infrequent work, then yes. If you want one to rely on day in day out then no. Spend extra and get one with clampdowns built in.

Requires clamps to use
The instructions are terrible and you cannot use it without buying a couple of G clamps. Also, you have to manually align the bending bar before each bend so it is slow and a fiddle to use.

Simple bending brake
Ok this is a small and simple bending brake for small tasks. For the price I am very pleased with it.

makes job done although not so clever about metal sheet holding

Clamping Bar Sliding.
Useless as received. 1.2mm sheet during bending, pushes the pressing plate, away from the bend position. Easy solution. Drill the pressing plate both ends and the same on the base assembly, 8mm or 10mm NOT CLEARANCE DRILL. Bolt down during bending. Don't forget to add same size sheet packing piece, close to bolts. Add clamps to hold material in place.Reading through reviews, Mr Bee has it 100% correct to resolve the issue.SUGGEST USE PRESSING PLATE AFTER DRILLING AS TEMPLATE FOR DRILLING BASE ASSEMBLY.Why did the manufacturer, not drill and provide 2 x dowel or 2 x bolt?
