Great knife ganzo are always a good value for a knife

Smooth action, good grip, good blade finish

Just another wonderful Ganzo at a good price point. Only one thing I think could be improved, and it is easy. A cut-out where the thumb stud is to get that thumb under the stud better as I have been slipping off or maybe a shorter, broader, stud, like Civivi does it. Holding the knife sideways, you can see how tall the studs are. Thanks!

This knife is awesome for the price. Even very good for double the price. The clip point blade is very sharp and feels very thin behind the edge. It also has a proper sharpening choil and plunge grind. The G10 handle has a great dual texture. The crossbar lock has a well tuned detent. I did have to loosen the pivot screw ever so slightly. Now the ball bearing action is very smooth and snappy. This knife also has both a thumb slot and dual thumb studs. Both work very nicely with the detent. The only negatives are very minor. The jimping could have a lot more grip. And the steel liner is not lightened at all. However, the knife does feel very solid, and not really heavy for its size. This might be the nicest budget knife that Ganzo has ever produced. It might also be the best knife under $30 on the market.

This is another spur of the moment purchase but when I saw a new model come out on Amazon I had to pick it up. They make great knives and I like the axis lock so it just made sense. This knife is super Sharp I cut myself pretty good with it. it locks up sturdy and is a great knife.

***Update after a month of EDC- I still really like this knife. I did discover that mine has a weak detent and you can easily shake the knife open which moves my original 4 star rating down to a 3. I'll still continue to carry this knife but I'm no longer interested in getting the other versions of this knife. Original review-This is my first Ganzo. I purchased the black handle, black coated blade version. All over good knife for the price. Axis lock is very smooth. Action is ok and will probably be better after cleaning/oiling. Good handle size/grip. Blade was working sharp out of the box. After a couple passes on a ceramic honing rod and leather strop it's now razor. Love the width/size of the blade. I could easily be tempted to buy the other versions of this knife.

This knife is way above average in construction, quality and ease of use. I can easily compare this knife side by side with many well name brand manufacturers whose products cost t.2 or 3 times as much. What a screaming good deal.

If this knife had grooves cut out where the thumb studs are to get access to them it would be a home run for the money. I took a drimmel to mine and now it as it should be.
