I had to laugh, it took 3 times longer to uninstall the old lock than install the Ultraloc. The Ultraloc is solid no cheap stamped metal. Serious about home security? BUY IT!

No cussing set up. Works and looks great. App does 99% so easy programming and easy set up. Adding users is easy peasy. Im very impressed and happy with my purchase.

I love my door lock. It works seamlessly. Customer service was very helpful in answering my questions.

UPDATE (5/5/2025): The manufacturer reached out to me via email and after some time communicating back and forth, they sent me a new lock. The results? It is NIGHT AND DAY. This new lock behaves exactly they way it should. It is too soon to tell how the batteries will last which explains the 4 stars, but so far I am satisfied. The customer service was great; U-Tec (specifically Savy) was quick to correct the situation because frankly, I was frustrated, upset and at a loss. I am super grateful.ORIGINAL: I purchased this lock with the handle on 1/27/2025.It is now 3/16/2025. The batteries have died THREE TIMES since the date of purchase. It does not connect to my wifi, my Bluetooth sometimes works....and when I say sometimes, it mostly doesn't.I'm so disappointed. I loved the supposed features but I have not been able to reap the benefits of it. The auto lock/unlock doesn't work, my fingerprints are hardly recognized and even when I type in a code, the deadbolt sometimes does not open. Did I get a dud?? This lock was supposed to simplify things for me but it really just made things more difficult.

After having had the August smart lock system for years, I replaced my front door with an outward swinging hurricane door, so I needed to replace my locks. I did my research and according to various articles this was rated as one of the top locks available and would work with an outward opening door. Well, it can be made to work however trying to calibrate it to lock outomatically is a mission, no matter how you set it the moment you open the door the deadbolt locks instantly before the door is even closed, I have done everything possible to stop this from happening to no avail, let's not even discuss the consumption of batteries, if you even contemplate purchasing this lock, make sure you own some stock with the brand, because you will find yourself changing these every two weeks, not to mention that the app. Most of the time you can not communicate with the lock remotely. My suggestion is do some extensive research if you're in the market for a smartlock.**** update first I want to say that the customer service team is excellent, I was contacted by customer service, to give more feedback on the issues I was having, they immediately offered me a replacement or refund of my order, so I took the replacement as this was something I needed. I'm so glad I did this lock is now functioning as it should and I couldn't be happier. Kudos to your great customer service team and thank you.
