Very nice, Easy to use
Bought this so I could crimp some dupont connectors to connect some wires to header pins. I think this tool set is great value. The tool itself is very nice, operates smoothly, and feels high quality. There are also plenty of connectors and housings included. I like that it also comes with a storage box to keep everything together. I also appreciated the instructions that are included. If you are new to crimping these types of connectors (like I was) make sure to read these carefully and reference the diagrams/images for whichever type of connector you are crimping. The direction you feed the connector+wire into the tool does matter. After one false start (my first crimp attempt was unsuccessful due to me not reading the instructions), I read the instructions and was able to crimp multiple connectors successfully with no issues.

great quality
Great quality on all components including the crimper and the nice case it comes in. Easy to use and even included decent instructions. Servo connector was exactly what I needed for scx24 but i will need to find smaller jst connectors for fcx24.

Great divider tray design
Great kit, well organized and divider tray keeps connectors and tool separate. The tray design also keeps the connector pieces from mixing with the other bins which is great.

Saved me
This kit saved me from having to buy yet another hotend for my 3D printer. The factory crimps came loose from my heater block wire and I tried to solder them on but the wire is stainless so my only solutions were to replace the hotend or hunt around for the connector. Fortunately it turned out to be a JST and this kit did the trick. The crimping tool feels very solid. Someone complained about the position of the release but it's not something you'll really need to use since it releases automatically once fully crimped. The crimps are nice and tight and are definitely not going to come loose. I would give five stars though the tolerance between the crimp and the connector housing could be a little tighter. When plugging the wire back in I could feel slack when twisting the connector. Stainless wire is especially rigid so this may not be a problem when working with a more malleable wire. Over the years I've had to fix so many connectors with solder or trying to crimp with pliers and harvesting from old computer hardware. Having this kit will definitely make life easier.

There's a learning curve
Overall this is a great set. The crimper feels solid, and the big assortment of connectors is just what I needed. That said, making these adapters is trickier than expected! The included instructions are good, but be prepared to waste several pieces before you get it right (if you're an absolute noob like me). Look closely at the metal part for the little "tooth" that latches into the plastic part. It's easy to crush that in while crimping such that it won't secure to the connector. My workaround was to make sure that the latch/tooth was hanging about 1mm out of the "back" of the crimper before pressing down; when I aligned the metal pieces flush with the front, I kept mashing it. It's a bit arts-and-craftsy, but you can definitely get a hang of it with some practice. The crimper works great, it's me that could you some improvement!

First time needing this tool, and it worked great.
I don't do a lot of this kind of custom wiring work, but I had a job where buying this kit was cheaper than ordering the wires custom, so I figured I'd take it on myself. I messed up 2 getting to understand the tool, and the rest of the wires I did flawlessly! Saved me a bunch of money, and now it can sit at the bottom of my toolbox until the next time I need to use it. Knowing me, I'll start to come up with projects that need it, now that I have it! :) Overall the both tools feel solid and well constructed, and all the little pieces are nicely organized and easy find which ones I need. I don't know if this would stand up to daily use and abuse, but for simple projects here and there or an at-home DIY'er, it's great!

EXTREMELY Glad I Decided on This!
The hardest thing is trying to figure out the specifications for the different types of connectors as a hobbyist. I had ordered a kit of JST connectors from china because the seemed like the most common type. After reading a bunch, I was able to determine what I needed was the JST XH type but I did not have a crimper. My 3D printer was getting a height sensor and of course the 'high qwality' chinese kit did not have the proper connectors for my Ender 3 V2 motherboard. I decided that since this kit said the jaws were EDM cut, it might have some accuracy. I work in aircraft and the tools are VERY expensive, so when I found these, I thought I would take a chance. Came in a nice retail box, the actual kit box is SUPER nice with a removeable tray to store a complete variety of the connectors, and at that securely so they don't migrate into other compartments. The crimpers are better than average with the jaws being very accurate. I was able to clip the 5-wire harness flat across, install 5 new female ends and snap them directly into the connector for a exceptionally professional result. It also does SM types too, but I would just purchase a separate pack for cheap. Great for drones, electronic projects and upgrades. The main reason I got this specific set is that they said 'High-precision jaws' and I can attest that they are. I crimped some 22ga Tefzel aircraft wire and the crimps all came out perfect, with the crimps secure and the strain reliefs not damaging the wire insulation, like in the ad photo. I HIGHLY recommend this kit.

Great tool for those small connectors
I love playing with microcontrollers and small circuits. For the past few years I've been using a crimping tool designed for Dupont connectors to make crimps on smaller JST-style pins. As can be imagined, it didn't work well and I often had to rework the connector several times to get it to properly crimp and fit into the plug. This tool changed all of that. It has a variety of different size pins and connectors that it can crimp, so it has plenty of versatility. I've become addicted to the ratcheting style crimper - this one is comfortable to use and works great. I couldn't be happier!
