CURT 48005 Pintle Hook Hitch for 2-Inch Receiver, 10,000 lbs, Fits 2-1/2-Inch Lunette Ring

These are SOLID units that fit perfectly without rattling inside of the receiver. It looks great when towing and doesn't look bad if I leave it in the receiver between trailer hooks ups. It is lighter weight than the multiple piece units that bolt together which makes it easy to install and remove. Strong enough to handle trailers with a high weight and easy to store in my truck Ramboxes when not in use.

These pintle hitches are a must because they make it a thousand times easier to tow or recover a vehicle that has found its way into trouble. Open the latch, close the latch, and you are good to go. THAT easy. It is very sturdy, I have had no trouble pulling mid-sized trucks with my F350...

Hitch works as described. Quality is a little less than expected. Curt used to make all items in USA. None the less, still a quality hitch.

No problem with towing with this less expensive option. Pulled 12,00 lbs, solid as a rock. Lets be real, this is just a dumb piece of steel, nothing to be extravagant about, but it does the job and delivered fast.

This is a heavy-duty pintle hook and it's been working great on my '99 F-150. All the moving parts seem very solid and well made. Will be buying a 2nd unit for my tractor so I don't have to swap them out anymore.

Have used this product on numerous vehicles and it works well. Would not fit current vehicle, but return involved 25% restocking plus return postage. Seems awfully high for what's involved and not worth the effort. Would not use this vendor again.
