Integrates easily with Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Konftel provides guidance on how to integrate with your Cisco CUCM (we're running version 11.5), and it integrates as you would any 3rd party SIP device. While we could have gone analog - we wanted the ability to have some remote management, and less reliance on aging copper telephone wiring with dedicated connections. With the Polycom SoundStation 2W now end of sale along with retiring our Nortel Option 81C PBX, we needed a new solution that was VoIP compatible and wireless for our conference rooms.
