🔌 Connect with Confidence!
The DIYhz6 Colors Mini SMD IC Test Hook Clip Grabbers Probe Jumper set includes 30 pieces of high-conductivity clips designed for testing and repairing ICs, SMDs, and other mini electronic devices. Each clip measures approximately 5x1.3 cm and features a spring-loaded design for easy insertion into standard connectors. With six vibrant colors, this set not only enhances your workspace aesthetics but also improves organization and efficiency during electronic experiments.

These are useful.
If you work with electronics regularly you should definitely keep a handful of these around. No, they don't have pins for attaching jumpers; they are meant to be soldered to. But it shouldn't take you more than half a minute to clip one end off a jumper, strip it, and solder it to one of these if that's what you need. That was actually the first thing I did with one. These are meant for making custom leads for testing or jumping between small connection points like pins on a soldered DIP. I've successfully attached them to soldered SOICs which are 0.05" pitch. (Though it would probably be difficult to get one on each of two adjacent pins that small.)

Excellent appearance and feels like good quality
As in a previous review, I don't want to penalize the seller for my laziness in using the product. I am a retired electrical engineer who tinkers with stuff and I fully expect this to do the job because the clips I've used before did.Yes - I copy pasted this one because it's the same as the previous one!

Very cheap and not well engineered. Don't recommend purchasing.
Very weak plastic material and thin. I needed to attach wires to each Hook, and the stainless strips are (fortunately) attached with brass rivets or I would have been unable to attach. Also, some of the rivets were nearly loose and required pressing again. Stainless strips don't take solder and you have to hope that each hook will stay connected using solder to the brass rivets!Once assembled they appear to work well, but the process was very poorly engineered.I purchased push wires with plastic ends to press over a pin on each hook, but those pins are not there. They were obviously made for someone to attach wires, but no pre-tinned or solder friendly attachment points.Don't buy if you expect easy to work with. They come apart easily (too easily) and I fear they won't hold up well over time. Typical 'just good enough' engineering.

Ok, but you might need to make minor modifications.
Initially everything looked great and I soldered leads to a couple, but when I tried attaching to some IC pins they just kept popping off and wouldn't stay attached for any period of time...maybe a few secs before the spring tension would cause the grabbers to retract back inside the housing. However I discovered this can easily be fixed if you trim off enough of the housing to where the grabbers will be slightly exposed as shown in the picture. The yellow one in 1st picture is untrimmed and will not stay on a pin and the green one is trimmed to expose the end of hook. As you can see in 2nd pic the trimmed ones can now attach properly.Other than that, they're decent enough for hobby work and I'd buy these again.

Good product ,strong Springs
Everything worked out really good on this product I used it for troubleshooting Diagnostics and keeping wires well behaved so they want wander around very handy to have they have a strong spring and strong hold on to the wire I'm very happy I got these I may order more later

Difficult to wire
Eyelet for connection has a tight opening due to stamping in manufacture. Need to pry open with sharp hard pointed metal. Casing is very large compared to application items on electronics boards. In addition, package was short five pieces out of 30. Short one of six color. Had to return.

Great quality
Great quality product. Spring hold them in place. Saved me from a lack of ideal tools also by implementing an arcane jumper switch with these.
