Easy to assemble, easy to use, easy to clean, works great, auto feed worked great, plenty of power, and not heavy so it fits a female gardener. I bought a lot of extra string and the quick charge battery , and there’s 2, lasted so long, I did my entire yard with only one. Happy with my purchase.

The trimmer is light weight, and easy to manage, even by a child or small adult. The design includes two adjustment mechanisms for the angle of the head and handle, to accommodate pretty much any body type - without using any tools. Just "click" and change! The entire shaft also rotates to turn the trimmer into an edger, if you want to use it like that. Although it works fine for regular grass, and very thin woody stems, you might like to get a more powerful "commercial" unit if you expect more. The two batteries are a nice touch - this feature allows you to work continuously, because you can quickly charge one while the other is being used. They batteries charge VERY fast! It is also nice that several spools of pre-wound line are included, so you will have plenty of line for months of use - without ever having to buy any line for refills. Initial assembly was quite simple, and I only had to look up one part, to see how it fit together with the rest. Ready to go in 5-10 minutes. Uncomplicated. I like it!

Like that it came with two batteries and extra spools of line, shouldn’t have to restring for several years. Cuts long grass and weeds without jamming, wish it had a tad more horsepower/line speed. Overall an excellent product and great value, would readily recommend to anyone looking for a battery-operated weed whip.

I bought this for my grandpa since his gas one is too heavy for him now. He liked it because it light, good length (he's 5'3), but still does the job easily as long as you don't let your grass/weeds grow much higher than 6 or 7 inches and take your time. The edge trimmer feature is actually very good. It surprised me that it had it and worked as well as it did when I tested it. I have a dewalt cordless trimmer and, while it has much more power than this, the edge trimming is about as good as this cheap trimmer has. The 2 batteries last long enough to trim all the way around my 2100 sqft house and still have some juice left for touch ups.The string change is fairly straight forward and the automated system is great. Even my dewalt has to be hit against the ground to feed it more string.I definitely recommend this if you aren't looking for something for commercial use or for very long/dense/wet grass.

I’m sorry. I don’t usually write reviews like this but it’s to be said after three times of trying with this weed eater.First of all, I should have known it was too good to be true when it was only $69 and had a coupon for $20 off. It seemed like a great deal and my current electric weedeater had a broken part so I decided to try this one fresh and new.Some good points. It’s easy to assemble and put together. However it seems like a kids toy when you’re holding it. Shorter than usual and no way to adjust the length like most weed eaters.Secondly I didn’t catch that it only has one “string” coming out. Whereas most all conventional weed eaters have two when it’s spinning. This one only had one.Then I took it outside. It seems way too weak with power, combined with the only one string. It barely cuts grass. It WONT cut weeds. It does a terrible job edging (see my picture after basically “sawing back and forth” every few feet and still it left my yard looking terrible).It’s simply terrible. Maybe a good gift for a child that wants to watch a parent using an adult weedeater but this thing is just not good at all.Additionally the battery runs down quick.I sure wish I could get my money back. But the thing is nasty with grass and dirt and I respect that I DID use it so I won’t ask for a refund.I really had hopes for this one. It just didn’t live up to the ad.

It does a decent job of getting rid of the pesky weeds and with doing edge work. While it is lightweight, it is a little awkward to hold. It's good for my size though since I'm short.I like the auto feed feature and how easy it was to assemble. However, if you need something for heavy duty work, the cord doesn't do much to help big and tough weeds. The quality is okay for what you pay for.Wish the batteries lasted longer. But for the price, it's alright.

I just got this yesterday and put it together and used it today. Took 10 minutes to assemble. Batteries came mostly charged but they topped of in like 15 minutes. I actually edged my whole yard with breaking the string once. Plenty of power. No it won't edge and weed whack your field but the battery did my whole yard without changing. Beats the hell out of the 18V Black and Decker I replaced. Some reviewers mentioned the shaft is not adjustable and a little short for a tall person. I'm 5'11" and it was fine. Decent power,a bunch of extra spools means I have nothing to complain about. No it doesn't feel like a $250 Ryobi but I paid $49 after coupon. If it lasts a year or 2 I'm satisfied.

As a 66 year old grandmother, using my heavy, gas powered trimmer was really a chore. I dreaded even cranking it on. This light electric trimmer is totally awesome - so light, two batteries, each one lasted me 45 minutes . It is perfect for a lawn that has been edged before. It really does well creating a deep edge when turned on its side - I mean wow - I created an inch deep and inch wide edge using this thing. As a weed whacker, it is good - however, its not for serious whacking of underbrush - like heavy duty brush clearing in other words. But to maintain a yard it is absolutely divine. I had to go over an area back and forth twice, instead of just once since it is only 1 string, but its worth it! Also, no winding, re-stringing either - just pop in the new spool and you are ready to go! I bought several extra spools since they are so cheap. Love the design on this thing. Well made and durable especially for the cost.
