Sensor Technologies: Healthcare, Wellness and Environmental Applications (Expert's Voice in Networked Technologies)

The book itself is five stars, at least for an engineer (I'm not, but am interested in tech). I learned a lot about a subject I thought I knew a bit about already, wrong. The author describes the science and IT very well and thoroughly. The uses for this technology are limited only by the imagination. Each chapter has an extensive list of references. Great index.There are quite a few charts and diagrams that are not readable on a standard Kindle, but display very well on a Kindle Fire or large Android phone.

Not bad good reads.

Overall, this is a great overview of the technology available, some short history of development, and how different types of sensors are used in practice.It does start a bit slow. The first 10% reads more like a manifesto than anything else. You can skip that if you are interested in sensors, how they operate, and some methods of use.

I haven't read it yet so why ask?

This book just provides a very general review of senor technologies. I'd like to look a little deep into these technologies. Apparently I'm not satisfied with it.

Way over my head.

Detailed technical description of ALL types of sensor, including the most simple.Quite boring after a while and very broad in its coverage.

Ya había leido otro sobre Android en plataformas Intel de la misma editorial y este que lo estoy biendo, no desmerece en absoluto.
