So much fun to make!
Wanted to make my Lego crazy son a lego cake. Didn’t have any time to practice and I only make 1 or two cakes a year so had to do something simple, but I still wanted it to look good. I saw these and decided to make the bricks out of white chocolate and food colouring. It worked so well. Easy to fill and easy to get them out. I left the chocolate to firm for around 20 minutes in the fridge before putting them in a glass container in the fridge until I needed them for the cake. It was so much fun to make these. Kids loved it, the parents at the party asked where I bought the cake and they got surprises when I told them I made it and and how. As I said I used chocolate and probably would continue doing that, but I’m sure it would work really well with other things like fondant. At the moment’s the moulds are in the freezer, I’ve made coloured ice cubes for the kids, they can’t wait to give Lego ice cubes to their friends. Photo of the cake for the party and cupcakes that the kids got to bring home, I put them in little cupcake boxes to take home.

Fairly straightforward silicone moulds. Used to make some building blocks out of icing for a birthday cake. Did exactly what was needed.

Great moulds
Easy to use to make chocolate lego for my sons birthday cake. Soft and pliable to make it easy to remove the chocolate once it had set.

NOT SAFE FOR FOOD USE
Absolutely STINK. We washed and scrubbed in every way we thought, but they still stank of chemicals. We thought we should at least try using them in case it didn’t impact taste… But we shouldn’t have bothered. These are NOT FIT FOR USE. They made the chocolate taste horrendous, everyone was spitting it out and rinsing their mouths out for a good ten minutes. There is no way these have been made using food safe plastic. Do not use!!!

I bought these molds to make fondant bricks to decorate a cake for my son’s Lego themed birthday party. They worked great, but it did take a little fiddling to figure it out. What I found most helpful was to press the fondant into the molds, then put the whole thing in the freezer for about ten minutes. That helped the bricks retain their shape when removing them. I could see these being awesome for jello, ice cubes, play dough, etc. They seem sturdy and good quality and the variety of shapes is great.

Good quality. The Lego sizes are different from tray to tray. Portioning is then different with each one in depth and width
