I think overall this is excellent , it was fairly straightforward to put together. It requires a steady hand to add some stickers but should be easy if you’ve built Lego / block models . My only issue with it is one leg is wobbly- fixable . Also worth noting if u buy as a present it doesn’t come in a box , just a load of numbered plastic bags & the instructions.

Sadly I have some pieces missing so am unable to complete it. I was so close to the end as well. It’s a solid build, but very frustrating, some of the pictures don’t match up to the pieces and the bags aren’t numbers in accordance with the instructions. However, if I could finish it I would be happy. Sadly. Until I get that piece, I won’t be able to in the photo is the piece I need and all the pieces I have left of that colour.

So this was my first set from Sluban and I am very impressed with the quality. Having the unique ball and chain for a weapon was what first drew my attention. The build was pretty easy and straight forward. You should note that even though the bags are numbered, you will be using pieces from multiple bags at the same time throughout the build. It caught me off guard at first but was easy to adjust to. The directions are very good at telling you which bags you will be using each stage. The packaging was nice and the directions are in a quality booklet. There are quite a few stickers but they are good quality and easy to reposition if they are applied a bit off. It has good articulation, and the joints are all firm enough to hold it in multiple positions. The shoulder mounted "guns" can shoot studs, but pieces used to attach them could stand to be just a bit longer. When you lift them up into firing position the don't quite lay flat. Really like the one solid mold piece for the head. It looks really good. The green is a bit muted, but it looks really good and unique. The spots of gold and translucent pieces really stand out. Even though it's a little on the shorter side of other mechs I have, it still doesn't look out of place. It wasn't missing any pieces, and I received a bunch of extra ones. I did have one slight issue with a piece on one of the shoulders being loose that might end up needing glue. You are getting 550-piece set for only about $35 (mine was on sale for $30) so the value is definitely there. Overall, I would give this set a 9/10, but with only being able to use the five star system this is an easy 5 out of 5. Definitely a brand I will be purchasing more from.
