Beautiful Basin for Rain Chain
This is a beautiful basin for the bottom of a rain chain. The quality is exceptionally high. I thought it might be possible to use it as a hanging bird bath, but since it isn't really made for that purpose, it isn't built to hang even. It needs to be placed on the ground or some sort of short stand. It can be set to hold the water from the rain chain, or to gradually release the water from the bottom. It is beautiful when it arrives. Patina will develop over time when it is left outdoors.

Beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous! High quality. Easy to attach to chain. Disperses water evenly through our garden and doesn’t allow for pooling. The color is perfect.

beautiful and functional
Sturdy bowl, looks great with our rainwater chain. I used aquarium silicone glue for the anchor in the middle so it doesn't leak and it's serving double duty as a cute bird bath.

Cute but needs a drainage hole
Looks great but I wish there was a hole for drainage. Looks good with my rain chain

Rain chain basin
It does as intended but if you get a lot of rain then it fills up quickly. I suggest having it on concrete or a way to divert the extra water. Mine sits in my front flower bed and the birds and insects will use it for water.

Beautiful and sturdy!
I added these to the bottom of a couple of rain chains and love them. They have held up despite having 2 small kiddos that like to yank, play in and run things over them.

Great for concrete where anchors can’t be used.
Our rain chain hangs over concrete and we get lots of wind. So a standard anchor won’t work. This is a great alternative method to anchor your chain. Price seems a bit steep compared to other parts. Half the price of the rain chain. But assuming it’s probably due to the cost of copper. So far we are pleased with the look and it stays put once we added some river stones.

This unit is well weighted for a rain chain. Holds the chain in windy conditions. Base actually works as a bird bath as well .
