I’ve bought every harness under the sun for my golden retriever, from cheap, mid range and expensive . This one has been the best so far. The length of the harness is perfect for her long torso and doesn’t slip like other harness’s do. It is very lightweight so she can wear it for longer without irritation. Other harness’s would make her sweat and itch and this one seems to be less of a problem for her. It’s really easy to fold up and pop in my pocket if I need to take it off during a walk and also washes and dries really well. The adjustable straps are very easy to adjust when the harness is on too which is a bonus, I’ve always found that tricky with other harness’s. I only use this harness to attach the long line so can’t comment on whether it helps with pulling. There is an extra point to connect the lead at the very back which I find really handy as the long line doesn’t get tangled as easily when she plays. The handle is a great feature too, helps me get some control easily if needed and also helps me get her in and out of the car easier. The length of the harness just feels overall more supportive for everything we need. I’d say this appears to be pretty escape proof because the fit is perfect. The photos show the top and underneath of the harness. It’s expensive but worth the extra cost I feel for all the extra features that other harness’s just don’t have.

Absolutely fantastic. Gives my 45kg German Shepherd actual comfort and support, and looks amazing on him. Wonderful bright blue colour :) As soon as I fit this harness on, my dog seemed to be much calmer, easier-going and more comfy walking on the lead. We’ve trained him to the point where he wouldn’t pull much anyway, but with this on he almost never pulls. I’ve only had to use the front range a couple times when he’d get carried away and it works very well for preventing hard pulling and redirecting them. Did tons of research and was tempted to get a Ju-K9 harness, but am so glad we went with RuffWear as evidence-wise (mostly expert opinions) they appear to have the best harnesses for optimal joint support and comfort - especially this flagline with 3 clips. Adjusting it is a bit of a pain but as soon as it was done, have not needed to touch the clips again. Effortless to get it on and off my dog everyday and extremely durable handles and loops - no signs of wear and tear almost 3 months in. Delighted. Pricey, but I know this’ll last for many years to come. You really get what you pay for when it comes to dog harnesses. My only regret is not getting this sooner. Went for a vet appointment recently and turns out our vet uses this exact same harness for her Border Collie which helps reinforce its high quality in my eyes. The only thing that would make this better is: -Including cooling vest (ruffwear have a cooling vest harness but it isn’t triple clipped like this one.) -Including a pocket/pouch

I have a 3 legged dog and so many body harnesses he simply slips out of, with Ruffwear designs he can not. This is his second harness. His first lasted approx. 3 years and literally thousands of miles of walking and exploring. One of the straps broke suddenly, but apart from looking like he was wearing an off the shoulder gown he was still secure. I am not so sure that this one will last as long but we will see. It now has 4 clips which is good, but they do not seem as sturdy as the last harness, the same for the straps themselves - maybe materials have advanced in 3 years, I don't know. The body fitting design is better as we are able to pick him up to go over cattle grids and stiles etc much easier and more comfortable for him. The material is more lightweight but it does move about a lot more and ruch up more, so we to adjust it more often on him. The harnesses are expensive, compared to many others, but so far they have proven that they are worth it, I hope that continues with this one too.

These harnesses fit my dog very well as they are very adjustable. They are strong and ideal for an active dog. I run with my dog - I clip onto the middle attachment on the back. The handle is also very useful for lifting if climbing over high stiles, etc.

This is great for our arthritic Labrador as we can help her over stiles. Adjusts in 6 different paces for a good fit. The grey and aqua colour way is lovely. It’s easy to put on the dog as it has the clips at each side. Very pleased with my purchase.

Most practical harness for a whippet. This is the third one we've bought. The harnesses last forever, we fancied a change. She finds them comfortable. We're confident she can't slip out. Ruffwear's outdoorsy sporty hype doesn't really appeal or apply to us. We just like these harnesses for everyday suburban park/woods/beach walks. Ruffwear advises sponge cleaning only. Our harnesses have survived years of machine washing in a net laundry bag.

If your dog is an escape artist in a regular harness, you need this! It holds your dog at three points so there is no backing out of it! My dog hates other dogs and I lift her like luggage to control her outbursts at least once on every walk! My dog is 28 kilos and the harness is an XL.

Great fit and easy to adjust. Sits well on our dog who had front leg amputation. We can support him jumping out of the car as well which really helps

Assolutamente fantastica. Vale tutto quello che costa. Resistente, leggerissima, sicura (non si sfila in nessun modo). Presa per la mia cucciola di 9 mesi con un passato difficile, mai stata al guinzaglio e spaventata da tutto. Cercavo una pettorina che non fosse ingombrante per lei, dato che non è abituata, ma che fosse anche antifuga e antipanico. Questa è perfetta. Leggera, facile da mettere, facile da regolare. La maniglia sulla schiena permette di fermare il cane quando è necessario. Ha aggancio del guinzaglio sia sulla schiena che sul petto per abituare a non tirare. Facile da pulire. Insomma costa parecchio ma per me vale ogni euro

I got this primarily because my dog just lost his brother to severe IVDD that took over his entire body, and I'm trying to find a harness that seems to have back support. He also tends to choke himself on his current harness, this seems to help mildly. He get too excited for walks. His measurements are neck 29cm, chest 47cm, length 38cm, I got an extra small. The neck seems a little loose, but we'll see if he manages to get out, he normally doesn't try, but you never know with a dachshund. Am going to take him onto trails with this harness and see how it holds up.

excelente agarre al perro por 4 puntos, eso evita que al tirar hacia detrás el perro se lo pueda quitar dándote tiempo a reaccionar, nuestro perro se los quitaba dándose la vuelta y tirando hacia detrás, con este conseguimos quitar esa manía . Actualmente llevamos usando este arnés desde hace 3 años.

I have a reactive large dog with a physique similar to a grey hound. - fit: the only harness I’ve found that can fit her weird physique, the only one I could adjust to her neck, chest and waist. Easily adjustable to accommodate winter gear as well. - security: there is NO WAY she can escape this thing once adjusted properly - comfort: it seems very comfortable, she wears it on road trips and doesn’t seem to realize it’s on her. She doesn’t get bruises even when over threshold and lunging wildly. It doesn’t restrict her joints - high quality: has held up to a year of LOTS of lunging, running through grass, jumping in mud, cold, heat, you name it. - lightweight: strong but light as a feather, air dries in a couple hours, with no staining I must add. - force free: it has no martingales or aversive features and has enabled the best results with training - the colors are so cute, I get compliments all the time.
