The globe is accurate. The names can be read and the land masses can be seen on the medium-sized globe. The base is sturdy. Its best feature is the illumination. It is very pretty when the light is on. The on/off switch is easy to reach. It spins on its axis without dragging. This globe is nice as both decoration and a learning aid.

This Illuminated Globe of the World is super cool in my son's room! It’s a great educational tool for both kids and adults. The globe lights up, making it a cool nightlight for my child’s room. It rotates smoothly and the stand is sturdy. My family loves exploring different countries and learning together. Highly recommend for any home or school!

My grandson loves his new globe. It is a good size and has great detail. The light inside shows off all the detail and does not wash it out. It is good for him to explore our earth and use as a night light. I am glad I got it.

The globe is brightly colored and shiny. In fact, I would describe the globe as having a “high gloss” finish as opposed to a “matte” or even a “gloss” picture. This makes it a strain to see in well lit rooms from the reflected glare. Additionally, this is not a relief globe so there are no mountain ranges of any kind depicted. Similarly, there is no latitudinal reference on the vertical support like many other globes meaning you need to find latitude somewhere in one of the oceans and follow around to where you are trying to determine the coordinates. Longitude is labeled at the equator which in my mind is probably the minimum, short of omitting them all together.On a more positive note, the text labeling is pretty clear and easy to read, even in label congested areas. Major cities and country capitals are included where they can reasonably be accommodated. The light works well and has a simple "on/off" button on the USB power cord.Overall, this globe was a poor choice for me at its current near $60 pricing on Amazon as there are several comparable globes, also on Amazon, that are much better values. I have already shared the globe with our grandkids so will need to hang on to this one until I can find a better valued globe with more features. That shouldn’t take too long I'm thinking.

This is a cute little globe that is outstanding quality! We homeschool so we wanted to get a little globe to let our daughter use. This is perfect. Highly recommend!

This comes fully assembled (unlike other globes I've owned where you have to put it on the stand yourself, assemble the 2 hemispheres, etc.). It lights up, making it a lot easier to use, plus it can serve as a sort of "nightlight".There is considerable inaccuracy around the equator. the countries and features there are distorted. Also there are a couple of spelling errors (for example, Easter Island is spelled "Eastr Island")

I really like the size of this globe. It's big enough to make it easier to distinguish between countries! The light feature is fantastic, though it plugs into a USB, and doesn't have a block. I know that seems to be the way all things are, but it's not the most convenient option. We use this in our homeschool classroom and it has been a wonderful addition. Highly recommend!

This globe feels well constructed and works well without any issues. The spin is smooth and consistent, as is the internal illuminating light function. It’s also just the right size, neither tiny nor enormous. I didn’t check every individual country for accuracy but I did give it a decent enough inspection to feel comfortable with the scale and accuracy. Not only does it work well, but looks quite stylish in the home office decor. I plan to use it to help teach my young grandchild about world geography and learn where all the different countries and continents are located.
