I love these little blue jays. I got the four pack of small birds. I'm using them for hat trim. I had to add a little thread loop to a hat to be able to attach it. I made the loop lose so my little bird bobs as I move. He looks really cute on that hat. I'll probably be doing the same to other hats to add a bird. And I'll probably save one or two for the Christmas tree. It's a nice quality bird. But the head crest isn't as pronounced as it is in the photos. Also the clip is a little hard to manipulate. You will get it but it takes a few tries.

These cut little blue jays are sitting on my fire escape shelf, and are adorable. They add a whimsical feel to the shelf. I gave it 4 stars because the alligator clips are small and you have to be careful not to pull it off the bird when clipping it to anything. One of mine lost its clip before I discovered how delicately they are attached. Not to worry though, he still sits on the shelf.

Our son is really into birds and wanted a small bird themed tree this year for the holidays. These are perfect and will pair well the the Cardinals we recently acquired that are similar in size. These cute little birds have clips on the bottom so they will attach to the tree limbs nicely. I beg to differ on the "realistic" description. They are not realistic, but they are cute.

I ordered these to add to my Christmas tree (I love birds) and they are nice enough from a distance, but they certainly don't stack up against the picture they used to entice people to purchase them. The beaks are uneven, the eyes are more sunken in, and the heads are inconsistent. A little less than realistic, but not horrible.
