Very comfortable post surgery compression
After loosing a lot of weight, nearly 100 pounds I was able to get to get an abdominoplasty or easier to say excess skin removal surgery. With my procedure I also got a translocation of umbilicus (belly button) other wise my belly button would have ended up about the pubic bone area.Anyone who has had this procedure or other abdominal surgery knows you are often placed in a binder to provide compression. I’m told it helps with healing.Since I only had one binder I got another one like the one I came home from the hospital in.Due to my medications for various medical conditions I’m healing slowly. I started to find the binder more uncomfortable more so as I was able to move around. After the drains came out.We my doctor and I discussed the need for compression for longer period. Perhaps even up to a year given my age I’m 62 and on medications to treat my psoriatic arthritis.I was told that I could try tight biking shorts as regular compression shorts wouldn’t go high enough Searched for a more comfortable option. At first I tried just a compression tank top without additional compression layer. It may have been ok if I hadn’t over done it I developed a seroma that required draining not a comfortable process. As a result the doctor wanted me in heavier compression longer period of time.So back to the binder it and I started my search again. This time I thought I’d include a high waisted compression underwear shorts I got both boxer brief, and brief style long with a different couple of different styles compression top.Over all I find this top product very comfortable so much so I’ve ordered a couple more of them along with the underwear to wear while I wash them.I do wash it in a front load washer on delicate cycle and in a large laundry bag then air dry it.I haven’t noticed any waist rolling issues either because of the rise or “bones” in them or both. The legs don’t ride up and I’m very comfortable in them.If you need compression either post surgery (discuss with your doctor) or just to look slimmer while loosing weight and getting healthier. Get this product and you may consider the compression undershorts. For reference sake I’m 6’3” weigh 190 pound wearing 32 waist jeans and medium regular underwear. I ordered the medium size and find them very comfortable. They are more difficult to pull up than regular compression shorts or even my biking shorts.

Size chart is accurate
This shareware gets the job done. I use these for a role in musical where I had to fit into a women’s dress. I had already lost a lot of weight, and this Shapeware did the trick.I was unsure which size to order, put the chart in the description was accurate. At first, when I open the package, I thought “I’m going to fit in this?“, But I did. It did take some getting used to it first, but eventually it became comfortable enough to wear through the entire performance

Great for post surgery
These are great. Almost 5 star. If I could give 4.5, I would. I had umbilical hernia surgery, and these are perfect for supporting your abdomen. Much better than the velco brace the hospital gives you. Also, slims your belly by an inch or so, if you're looking for that. I'm 5'11" and 230lbs and the large fits perfectly. The only negative is the member hole access part. Not sure how to say it properly but the bottom flap of that access was not thought out correctly. It allows your member to escape, causing quite a bit of adjustment.

Great fit with support
Bought these to try as compression shorts to see how well it will work. I was worried with the material going so high up the waist but was impressed with the comfort and fit of these. They were comfortable all day long and help improve my shape in my clothes. Some highlights these briefs have are the crotch area design was very well thought out and makes it easy to use the restroom without any difficulty. The backend is designed to help lift the butt and looks great when wearing these under pants. As for the waist portion I was concerned about, I was impressed with the comfort and feel. It helped tuck those love handles in a bit and really makes my look better in my clothes. The waist area has reinforced rigid straps built into the fabric which eliminates the fabric on the waist from rolling down. I will probably buy a few more of these while they are still offering the discount on the order page.

Great Support in the right areas.
Excellent support! Used this for recovery from surgery. Highly recommend. Keeps the right parts tight and leaves room for other parts.

Slides down doesn’t work
Like other reviews, say it kept sliding down. I don’t have a problem with my legs. I have a problem with my stomach, so I’m not sure why they didn’t make it bigger on top… it basically moved my stomach to my chest and it just made me look weird… and if you move and I mean, if you just walk, if you bend over, if you do anything, it immediately slides down it needs to be bigger and it needs to come with suspenders or something. The size was fine. The material seemed fine. And the wearability was fine, but for the fact that it didn’t function for what I needed it for I had to return it. I do not recommend this product.

List to the girls.
So I gave a two star because description and reviews where not as advertised. I love the design and the way it is made really works for men in ways no other product does and would recommend, however, I suggest down sizing. Example. I wear a xl and wanted a little more flat front, so got an xl. I might as well have worn a medium tee shirt. It would have done better. Recommend sizing one size down to get the "advertised" effects needed.
