Your Eyes Matter Most and First
Have you heard the saying, "no feet, no horse", or "no legs, no horse"? It means that without healthy feet and/or legs, it doesn't matter how tuned up your bad pony is. She can't motor on bad feet and legs so you'll never get there from here. Well, it doesn't matter whether you're shooting a Kimber or Hi-Point, if you can't properly see you'll never hit what you're aiming at, and even if you are getting decent hits there is room for improvement. As a shooter, you're an eye athlete before anything else. Wheelchair? No problem. Bad hips or knees or back? That can be worked around. Vision problems? Problem. This tool can help. Take your time, play with it. I set my first bead about six inches from my nose. The second bead is the distance to my carbine front sight (I'm using a fairly short sight radius weapon). My next is just a few inches further and represents distance to my handgun sight. Yes, it's further than my front sight on my carbine. Weird, I know. I didn't expect that either. The rest I space equidistant with the furthest being an inch or so from the end. I then focus on the nearest, then next, then next, until I reach the end. Chris Sajnog has a nine minute video on youtube that tells you the basics. I developed what I think of as interval exercises. After simply working back and forth. I then go first to second to first to third to first to fourth to first to fifth and so on until I reach the last. Then I work backwards with the furthest as my home base. I then work it from the second to first to third to second to fourth to second to fifth to second, etc.. I use each bead as the home, working back and forth. While my vision hasn't become perfect, my ability to quickly focus to the point I CAN has become better. I am now moving to his advanced focus string. I hope to be able to get my eyes to also focus much more clearly through these and other exercises.

Simple training aid but effective. A bit pricy though...
It's expensive for what it is but due to time constraints, ordering it was better time spent for me personally. It's literally a heavy gauge string with beads. Regularly using does improve eye focus times. You just have to stick with it like all things. I found that personally, finding the front sight felt smoother and not as jarring. I dont focus solely on the front sights, never have but I've been able to quickly spot the front sight in relation to the target much faster. At least shaved off about .5 seconds from acquisition. I feel that I can further improve if I keep this up.

Works, but...
Not expensive, works, well done, and cites online web pages for more info. Only thing missing is exactly how to use it. Is this supposed to let someone see the rear gun sight, front gun sight, and distant target all at the same time, clearly? Or just the two sights? Or just the front sight and the target? I kinda get it but it's not clear what the objective is, just the item and instructions on how to practice with it. It's like getting a car and driver instruction but no info about possible destinations. But it is and does what they promise, so if you benefit, more power to you. I have not practiced with it enough yet so I cannot complain, but how to practice with this thing is clear, it is less clear how to apply it. maybe I need to view more videos at Chris' website. Try that if you have the same thoughts I do.

It took me 17 years...
I have been a competitive shooter since 2002 (IDPA, USPSA, 3GUN). When it comes to pistol shooting, I have never been able to shoot with both eyes open. I have allows closed my left eye in oder to see the front sight clearly. After working with Chris' bead setup for just 20 minutes, I can see the front sight with both eyes open! It took me 17 years of shooting and this tool to be able to do it. I am really excited and I am going to practice with the beads daily, and come April, I will be ready for the new shooting season.

Let’s be honest…
Let’s be honest, you could go to a craft store and make 20 of these for a few bucks. Does it really help with ocular acuity, focus tracking? It’s hard to say, but it’s a good tool if you’re having a hard time transitioning from target to front sight focus. Chris has saved you the time of running out and buying parts to make your own.

Greatest things since sliced bread and semi automatic weapons!
Okay, this is just wicked cool. I can't believe how well this thing works. I've been using this for almost a year and I just bought a second pair to practice in my office when I have some downtime.PROS:- Adjustable distance on the beads for different practices- With the buckle, you can easily attach it anywhere- Your speed of focus increases dramatically within a very short amount of time (I'm 34 so I guess if you are 80 it might take a few extra weeks)CONS:- didn't find out 10 years ago that this existThank you Chris Sajnog for making this available for the public!
