It doesn't pick up movements from a distance in dark.Only when someone is very near, that too in some dim light then only it works. When I first received it there was no remote in the packet. There is no return policy except for exchange. Suppose some one doesn't like it they are struck with a replacement. Many times we will be fooled by the pictures and details what the manufacture put there . Unless we physically see it we will not know exactly how it works.....It is better if there is a money back policy also like many other products on Amazon.

Wall bracket with holes to sit on the light unit is very very very useless . It has to be pasted by araldite or drill tiny screws which may damage the internal pcbboard.
