It's worked as described, but the sound for turn signals from the relay included, sounds very cheap. I recommend getting different relay.

2009 pontiac G5 - with onstar
Works well. Installed Pioneer AHV-X3800bhs.Instructions are generic and had to rely in included wiring diagram to make sense of it all. A couple of wires had to be capped off (not used), but for the most part, all hook ups were color to color.Door chimes and turn signals work, but volume is super low and could be mistaken for not working.Onstar functions excellent although I tested it only (not a subsciber).I did not need to cut of tap into any wires in the car to retain all original functions.Applies to Chevy Cobalts as well.

Works for a 2011 HHR
I bought this hoping that this model number will work for a 2011 HHR. It said that is will work up to a 2009 model. I does work and my OnStar works like a charm. I had to call tech support for a question on one plug that was not used because the instructions were very vague. They were completed idiots and I almost started yelling at the tech. But all is well. Great thisng to order if you get a aftermarket radio with navagation.

Outrageous Price For Halfassery...But You Have No Choice But To Buy It!
This unit was the only option, and a necessity for wiring in a new radio to my '08 HHR. Unfortunately, it's not well thought out, nor totally functional as-is.The good:*It DOES maintain On-Star.*It DOES allow the radio to interface with the factory harnesses.*It DOES maintain the warning chime for doors open/lights on/keys in igntion. The bad:*It DOES NOT maintain the signal blinker "click" without an EXTRA resistor - which must be purchased separately! Pardon me, but I expect EVERYTHING to work for the price of this thing!*It's FRIGGIN HUGE! If you have an HHR, and you are installing a factory-sized (Double-DIN) aftermarket radio, you MUST put the "Box" behind the radio pocket of the dash....there's not enough room to put it anywhere within the radio pocket of the dashboard.*Since it's so huge, and you must put it behind the console, there should be extra wire to allow for the length needed! The orientation of the wires, and their routing from harness-to box-to harness makes for a bird's nest of wires, but barely enough length to reach the radio.Long story short....if you have an HHR, this is a necessary evil. But be prepared, it's a nightmare. It

Does as advertised.
Does as advertised, retains OnStar functions. The recommend support unit ( that is purchased separate) to retain steering wheel radios functions did not work.
