Engineered Now The Original Headrest for The Herman Miller Mirra 2 Chair (Black)

Had to order this because there are not many options available for this particular chair, but it is very hard and uncomfortable, I can’t decide if it does more damage to my neck than good! Also it is made very poorly, very hard to move it to an angle

Been looking a long time for a headrest designed for the Mirra 2. I've has my chair for over 9 years. Engineered Now made a good decision in using a cushioned headrest instead of a mesh. This is currently the best Mirra 2 headrest on the market. PROS - Easy to install - stays in position once set - light weight - does not push against your head - wide cushion which can be used with headphones CONS - expensive - adds to the wobble of the chair's back - needs to be positioned forward because of the flex - May not work well for tall people - height adjustment wheel could have better tension Warning: The Mirra 2 isn't designed to have a headrest. Adding any headrest requires bolting hard plastic onto the hard plastic of the chair frame. This will induce some surface damage over time. You could potentially void your warranty, so you have to understand this before using this product.

Not a great fit. Too flexible so cannot use. Sent back as not fit for purpose

It's a well made piece of kit there's no denying it. However that is the only positive thing I have to say about it. Once installed it is a floppy headrest that you cannot really press your heard into without the the top part of your chair bending. Worse still it will damange your once it's been installed. Don't take the plunge like I have. I would return it but then I'm left with a chair that has marks on it..
