These arrived in perfect condition. I had a small pack previously and wanted more colours for the work I was doing. These were perfect, the pigment is amazing and you can tell they're a high-end supplier for art supplies while using them. Pencils were all sharp and easily blendable, which worked great for my art. They'll last me plenty of time and will get great use from them!

As a professional artist 🎨 I have used many crayons and these are excellent for the price. The pigments are top quality. Thats important to me and the person who buys my art. The flow of the colour is superb. And when not painting with them they are just as good. Great quality 👌

Great watercolour pencils. I've tried other makes but these are so much better. The colour spreads so well and mixes too. These don't leave pencil lines as others have if you don't want that. Very pleased with my purchase. I've found the ones for me that will enhance my watercolour painting.

I did a lot of research before I decided to purchase this box of 48 coloured pencils. I was torn between these, the Faber Castell Polychromo series and Derwent's Lightfast. For me, the Goldfaber was the right decision for a variety of reasons: .) The range of colours offers everything I need. I love the vibrancy of the colours. .) The pencils are neither too hard (they feel creamy and lush when colouring) nor too soft (they sharpen to a fine point, excellent for detail work) .) The price is mid-range for a high quality product and a lot more affordable than the other series mentioned. .) I love the smaller, two layered tin box. It's easier to store than the wider tins, and, with the easy lift out-tray, the pencils are easily accessible. .) As a hobby artist, this is perfect for me! If you are a professional artist, your needs might be different from mine. The one thing that concerned me before me was that the pencils don't have the colour name printed on them. They only have a number, and inside the tin there's a list where you can check their names. Strangely, now that I'm using the pencils, this is a non issue. You'll soon get used to the system and it is only a minor drawback. Highly recommended!

Excellent product

These are lovely and perfect for on the go when travelling. Simply add colour and when you have some time, blend with a water brush or paint brush. Koh-I-Noor watercolour pencils are also lovely, I bought some of their purples to add to my FC set.

Amazing coloured watercolour pencils. Easy to use and fine tip for colour dry or wet. Good value for money and nice tin. Easy to sharpen, vibrant colours for blending and highlighting.

They aren’t cheap but worth every dollar! The quality is very high and they blend excellently and work well with water also. I had struggled with watercolors a bit but been able to do excellent paintings with them. They are incredibly smooth and much better than other brands I’ve used. They are very easy to learn and have a small learning curve.

Je suis tombé sous le charme intense de ces crayons aquarelle Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer. Sur un CANSON XL Mixed Media, je ne m’attendais pas du tout à un rendu aussi beau et agréable. Je dessine avec un peu tous les crayons qui m’impressionnent : certains Luminance (ils accrochent le blanc comme le noir), les Lightfast (en duo avec les polychromos ou Pablo), et surtout les excellents crayons « bon marché » : les Winsor & Newton, les Lyra (Germany), les Staedtler (très pigmentés, bonne mine qui accroche) Mais les Castell Albrecht Dürer sont encore au-dessus de ces meilleurs crayons. Cela m’étonne que personne ne le dise suffisamment ! Le Rouge cadmium offre une teinte très intense, opaque, avec une excellente résistance à la lumière. On retrouve le glissé des excellents Derwent Drawing avec beaucoup de pigments. C’est merveilleux si on aime les monochromes. ✅ La Mine de 3,8 mm. est plus tendre et grasse, ce qui permet un tracé plus fluide, cela permet de déposer une grande quantité de pigments, tout en offrant une bonne couverture. ✅ cette mine est composée d’une combinaison de pigments très concentrés : la saturation de couleur est exceptionnelle. Ces crayons sont également dotés de liants solubles à l’eau, ce qui permet de les utiliser comme des crayons classiques ou avec de l’eau pour obtenir des effets d’aquarelle. Mais sans eau, j’ai mis un petit dessin, c’est extra ! ✅ Agents de texture : des cires et des huiles spécifiques sont ajoutées à la mine pour offrir une sensation douce et grasse, ce qui facilite l’application et le mélange des couleurs. Des agents fixateurs : permettent aux pigments de bien adhérer au papier sans nécessiter une pression excessive. ✅ Le rendu aquarelle : propose de magnifiques dégradés lorsqu’ils sont activés avec de l’eau. ✅ Accroche sur papier : exceptionnelle sur des papiers texturés, mieux encore que des crayons comme les Polychromos. On voit clairement les pigments se glisser dans les aspérités du papier. Effleurer suffit. Je cherche toujours « un meilleur » rendu. J’ai découvert vraiment -autre chose. Le prix est aussi très raisonnable pour des crayons professionnels. Surtout que l’on peut les acheter à l’unité. Si mon commentaire vous a paru utile 😉 merci de le noter ; ça motive à faire mieux !
