great light, does what it says it will do, pretty bright, nice beam, looks great getting flares into the lens. its a little bulky / heavy, but also wish they could put the ballast built into the head so theres not extra cords etc. for the price though, its amazing.

Really surprised by this one, in a good way. B&H sells these for 3-5 times as much. I use mine as a backlight and as an adjustable hair light when running interviews. It's built like a tank and does exactly what I need it for.

I've had this light about a month (it's $75 cheaper now!), and it does everything I need it to do. Very bright - enough to use as a key light, shape-able, though not to the extreme, robust and sturdy, doesn't flicker or cast odd hues, and feels like it will last a long time.Nothing complicated, pretty much plug and play. The adapter hangs nicely from the stand, the cord is plenty long, and the addition of barn doors and an orange filter are nice. Also, the dimmer is sensitive yet silky smooth, allowing you to dial in the perfect amount.Even buying this at $350, I feel it's a great value. At the current price, I'm tempted to buy another.
