Exactly what I needed
All of my basement window latches broke off - they were cheap and flimsy. This replacement is very sturdy I don't see it breaking off like the original latches.

Works fine so far.
Purchased to replaace a broken handle and despite many reviews stating that they don't last long. I thought I would still give it a try because honestly, there are that many options out there. So far it works well and is smooth when turning the handle. Lets hope it last for a while.

Handles don’t return to 90 degrees once you close them with out hitting striker bracket , but there close enough, one of the only handles available for applications 👷🏼

Upgrade for the plastic handle that came with the window.
Fit's perfectly in the 1 1/2 spaced holes.Made of metal so more durable than the original.Despite that it's a bit flimsier than I expected as the joint piece is loose/wobbly and seems like it could eventually break, but who knows. Wish it felt more solid that way.Otherwise seems fine. Thanks!

Easy to install. Works nicely
I have original windows from the 1980s in my house. One night after taking a shower I tried to shut the window and broke the handle! I ordered this product and it got delivered right away.Install was very easy and only 2 screws. It’s been in place for about 6 months and no issues. I like the powder coated metal as it gives a nice feel.

Very lightweight. Not durable and long lasting for us.
They were very attractive, but we needed to replace a few of these on a house we were renting. We bought 6, and they just didn't hold up. Right in the center where the screw hole is, under a little pressure, they crack. Had to order 4 more. I believe that this lock and sash should be offered in different weights depending how you use them would distinguish the weight you would need. These are very light weight and not appropriate for a window that's highly used.
