Much easier to see when backing up. You can replace the rear backup lights on the 86 without any body part removal if you have skinny hands. I managed to do it, but it required a lot of hand twisting. You might want to wear protective nitrile gloves to avoid scratching your hands up on sharp edges. Otherwise, you will need to remove the rear light assembly.

I was looking around for higher lumen 921 led back up bulbs and came across these. I looked and the reviews and the lower price on these worried me they wouldn't be all that great but when I got them I was shocked on how well they are made they spread out the light perfect color temp is just right and they are super bright light highly recommend these bulbs definitely well made!

Obviously these are easy to install if you have ever changed a light bulb in a vehicle. They are bright and definitely help.

Used this in the reverse lights on my Colorado. They are MUCH brighter than stock but not quite as bright as some other brands I have tried. However, they cost a fraction of what I paid for the name brand bulbs. They have lasted a couple months so far and, although they do get hot, I've had no issues with them. Just keep in mind that these are designed for intermittent use. I suspect they wouldn't last in an always on situation. For reverse lights, though, they're great!

The YOSAKY 921 LED Reverse Light Bulb Back Up Lamps are great! I just installed them in my 2005 Hyundai Tucson, and they ARE super bright! I had to read my car manual to see that I not only had to open my back hatch (more on that later), and remove 3 Phillips screws on 1 side, but also SLIDE the whole rear light assembly off of little posts on the outside edge. I first broke 1 off, by prying the wrong way, thinking the assembly had posts going into holes. As my title states, they're very bright - and because of that, it changes the purpose of reverse lights, from a signal for others that I'm backing up, or want to, to A LIGHT FOR MYSELF, to see where I'm going when I back up! I do think they're a bit too expensive, but I don't know how much they are to manufacture, and if I did, I may retract that opinion. Remember that rear hatch I opened to access the ,light assembly? When I was testing these reverse lights, I turned the key on (engine off), put the Tucson in reverse, set the parking brake, which I know works and could feel initialize, and I slowly went to the back of the car, and no reverse lights were on! So, I initially thought the lights were defective - until I realized that I had left the hatch open. Once I closed it, the reverse lights came on! - Probably a safety feature to keep it from functioning when the hatch's open.

Can't complain. Would reccomend
