Perfect magic set for a beginner
My 9 year old asked for a magic set for her birthday and this did not disappoint. She has played with his continuously since she got it and loves showing off the different tricks. There are a lot of tricks to learn and she keeps getting better at doing them. Totally worth every penny.

Pretty Much Fun
I have one and only one complaint about this kit... the hat does not fit my 8 year olds head. To be fair, none of the age specific hats fit his large head and they never have. I'm sure it probably fits an average size head. He still likes to wear the hat though. The cape however, he has no interest in, but it would probably fit.He has thoroughly enjoyed the tricks and is enjoying sharing his magic powers with his friends. They are easy to learn and easy for him to perform. A few of the tricks require practice, but many of them are easy enough for him to do without much practice. Overall, it's a super fun set and he is very happy with it.

Cute, quality pieces but beware!
The pieces in this magic set appear to be of decent quality overall. The hat is really cute, fits my 6 yo, is sturdy & made of a felt like material. The cape is really cute too. He’s had fun playing with everything. The only problem I had was my fault & I’ll be more careful when ordering a gift to be delivered to my home. I had ordered this to be given from the Easter Bunny and I didn’t notice at checkout a notification that vendors will usually send in the original box, not in an Amazon box. So I get a call at work from a very excited little person saying a magic box was just delivered & wanting to open it. The shipping label was right on top of it.So my fault but maybe this will help someone else before their surprise gets spoiled. Read the fine print! Overall yes I’d recommend this kit!
