Smiling Friends: The Complete First Season (Blu-ray)

This set is a must have for adult cartoon fans. The Item came in superb condition from America, and not a single thing was broken or damaged. The DVD works well on Region-Free DVD players, and offers so much fun to be had. All 9 episode from the first season of this funny and subversive adult cartoon are in great quality on one disc, with bonus audio commentary tracks from the creators. My favourite episodes were The Mr. Frog and Frowning Friends episodes, as they are jam-packed with so many clever jokes. Overall, amazing purchase.

Just as a quick note, this release is region free and will work on any Blu-ray player, it worked just fine for me in my UK PS5. Smiling Friends is a very unique show, a wonderfully weird creation you get when combining the forces of surreal comedy masters Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack. It's not the weirdest show from [adult swim] by any means though, as it manages to balance the nonsense with genuinely funny writing and a superb animation style that seamlessly combines many types of mixed media. This release on Blu-ray is well deserved, however it is slightly disappointing as despite the release proudly advertising an 'UNCENSORED' warning sticker on the slipcover, a few of the episodes on disc are unfortunately the censored versions with bleeping on stronger words, which is why my review only has four stars. Despite this, it's still better quality than anything on streaming, and the added commentary tracks from Zach and Michael are well worth the price, providing both production insights and fun jokes. Be warned though, they will call you a sucker for buying the physical release right at the start of the first commentary track. Don't take it personally! Overall it's a great release, it certainly made me smile. Looking forward to Season 2! :)

It arrived in very good condition, it even has subtitles and audio in Spanish, since I don't speak English, good audio and quality ! ^_^

Good condition!! The front had a small dent or wrinkle or crack or whatever but its not noticeable from a distance. other than that the actual DVD was in perfect condition and it worked just fine :) i reccommend it if you don't have prime video.

As someone who lives in Belgium it saddens me that i can only see Smiling Friends season 2 on HBO MAX thankfully amazon as it , not only that but the blu-ray is not regio restricted

Very funny show in higher quality than any streaming service could offer. Physical media supports show creators far more than streaming it a 100 times would do. And you own the content, so it will never be taken from you when the streaming service changes.
