I wanted to try a rice toner and this one is great.

No matter what serum & moisturizer i used, I still had flakiness & dryness. I live in the high desert, in a basin surrounded by mountains so the air is ALWAYS dry. It's worse in the winter. I couldn't wear any foundation or even concealer bc my skin was so dry, it was patchy & just looked bad. I figured I would try this as an extra hydrating step to see if it would help. It definitely does. I only get flaky now if I overuse my trentonin but after 1 use of this toner (along with my other products), my skin is hydrated again. I see some people complaining about the scent. It just smells like if you soak rice in water overnight. I think it smells good, & it dissipates quickly. I don't see how anyone could be offended by the smell, honestly. It smells natural and I love products that don't have added fragrance, as I have sensitive skin. If you aren't using a Korean hydrating toner I 100% suggest it & this one is a keeper for me. I am not even going to try any others, that's how good it is.

I really love the texture of this toner/essence (not sure the difference of terms).It has a milky feel & a sort of body to it that makes it a tad bit thicker than other rice toners.There is a visible separation of ingredients that develops in the bottle when it settles, so I shake it up before I pour a bit onto my fingertips & then spread and pat all over my face.It smells very distinctly of rice water (if you've ever rinsed off rice you'll recognize the smell). I appreciate that there is no fragrance trying to hide the smell because I like to avoid excess fragrance in my face products & the kinda funky smell goes away after a minute or two anyway.Another rice toner I've tried has a small amount of added exfoliating ingredients (like glycolic & lactic acids), and while that toner has its usefulness for the added exfoliation, i really like that this toner is different & gives me a really hydrating, soothing, repenished feeling without the extra actives my sensitive rosacea prone skin doesn't need.I've used it pretty much 2xs daily since I got it & have barely gone through any of the bottle. I believe this bottle will last me most of a year. I do expect to need less extra layers of hydration when the winter is over & the environment at home isn't so dry. But right now in feb & march I'm applying 2-3 times a day & I like the results I get.I will say that I'm using other hydrating & moisturizing products along with this toner, including other toners. I like to apply it after the very watery one & before the more thicker type one I have.I feel like this toner adds something that was missing from my other products. I've already decided that I'm not re-purchasing one of them because it just isn't hydrating enough, & this rice toner does everything that one does (including brightening) but it feels so much better on the skin after application.This toner really filled a gap in my need for more hydration & soothing this winter. I'm glad I took a chance on it.

After just two days of use, my skin was noticeably glowing! The packaging is well-designed, with a plastic closure that makes the bottle leak-proof. The scent is pleasant-there's a very light smell of cooked rice, which I actually appreciate. You will need to shake the bottle to ensure the product is well mixed before use. I struggle with very dark circles under my eyes, so I'd like to see if this toner helps brighten the area. So far, I'm very pleased with the results, especially considering the price point - it's great for the size. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this toner and will definitely explore more products from this brand.

The product feels natural , I chose it because it has no fragrance , also really good for the price . I don’t feel as much as a ‘glow’ effect , but it’s nice :) perfect for dry & sensitive skin

This toner is very nourishing and I looooove the jasmine rice scent. It’s noticeable but not over powering. It smells just like a clean steamed Jasmine rice off from a rice steamer and it does make your face hydrated but not greasy at all. I hope they bring this back in stock

Wonderful replacement for the I’m from rice toner-especially for dry sensitive skin

I have been in love with this product until I purchased my second bottle. The formula is watery and lacks the same potency as the first bottle. Not sure that I will buy again due to the obvious changes .
