Micro-Mesh 1/2 x 5 3/4 Colored Sanding Sticks by Micro-Mesh

I bought these for a different purpose than most people but I think it's worth sharing. As a classical guitarist it's essential not only shape my right hand nails, but to ensure the nail tips are as smooth as glass. I've found Micro-Mesh is an ideal solution and these sticks are shaped like nail files so they are perfect for the job.

As expected.

What a fantastic set of polishing sticks, they go up to 15000 which is capable of polishing scratches out of clear perspex. They are very well made.

These are excellent products for modellers. They work extremely well, wet or dry, for smoothing models before painting and between coats. Different grades are easily distinguished by their colour and the shape makes it possible to get into awkward places. Highly recommended.

These aren't really sanding sticks, the package says polishing kit. The sticks are all much finer grit than I wanted. Probably my fault but couldn't see anything telling you what grits were provided. Will get used but not very often. Coarsest is 1500 grit.

I bought these after reading the reviews and needing something better and longer lasting that the cheaper alternatives.These are great as they standup well, can be cleaned and you get all the various grades you need to go from nub to polished smooth.A must for any gunpla builders out there.

Used for model making. Seem very good quality with a great range of grits! I think the price is a bit steep though!
