The perfect gateway to thriller books
I’m usually a romance/romantasy girl, but I saw this on tiktok a few times and had to give it a go. I read it in one sitting, it begs to be read in one sitting. The detail created the scenes in my head and i saw it play out as if i was watching a show rather than reading a book. I cannot wait to read Megan’s next book. It’s duel perspective & a very easy written read. If you’re looking to get in to thrillers/suspense I think this is the perfect gateway book

Great ya thriller
That’s Not My Name follows a girl who wakes up in a ditch with no memory of even her name. Her father comes to collect her from the police station and she returns to their mountain cabin with him. Elsewhere we have Drew who is under suspicion for his girlfriend’s disappearance who is desperate to find her.I liked Drew’s pov a lot and felt so frustrated for him. But he was dedicated to Lola when no one else was and when we finally got some clues things got very exciting. I loved the hunt and the end was really great. The Girl pov was tense as I was constantly on edge but I liked picking up the clues and waiting for the climax. The ending was really great, highly stressful and satisfying with an emotional impact! Overall a quick enjoyable ya thriller with high stakes and an undercurrent of tension.

An enjoyable listen
An enjoyable listen, randomly came across it on Scribd and decided to give it a go because i do enjoy a lot of YA thrillers. It kept be gripped from the very beginning. I enjoyed the hearing two different stories along the same time. The ending did shock me but I was expecting a little more and im not too sure why. I will definitely check out more of this authors work when more comes out 😍

Clear your night, I couldn't put it down
Wow, loved this book! Gripping. Had me invested right from the start. I love a good teenage sleuth story. Some bits far fetched, like the sheriff being so un-invested in a local kids disappearance. I loved it and couldn't put it down. Thought I knew what was going to happen for sure, so the ending got me!

Waste of time and money
I'm sorry but this was awful. It was badly written and boring. Drew's character was boring and I found myself skipping his chapters. I don't usually write bad reviews but this book just annoyed me. Was a waste of good reading time.

My new favorite book!
If you are considering this book, BUY IT! The characters are relatable, the plot build is amazing, and the ending. Omg the ending! I was a little skeptical in the beginning. The story seems very far-fetched. But the further I got in, the more I overlooked that. It really is a great read! I am in a few psychological thriller Facebook groups, and this book was recommended a time and time again and for good reason! It’s rare that I shed actual tears at the end of a book, but I was ugly crying.
