CST/berger RL25HV Horizontal/Vertical, Interior/Exterior Rotary Laser

For someone who has done a lot of framing in old residential homes, this product makes 'layout' a breeze!... ...set it on the ground, and locate the top plate with ease!... ...ending up with plumb walls every time. Similar to when I switched to pneumatic tools, I don't see myself EVER going back to the "old way" of doing things.

I was very happy with the product. It was missing the battery cover nut. There was also an issue with shipping timing and expectations.

Disappointed with brightness of this laser.On the good side, laser feels well build, and well designed, love all the features and remote.I wish that this laser could be a bit brighter.I tested this laser on interior job site during a sunny day.I bought this laser to replace line laser that I usually use for interior layout. Bosh gll3-80 and dewalt line laser were not bright enough for interior layout on 100'+\- by 80'+\- project.I was expecting up to 200' bright and sharp interior laser.What I noticed instead how challenging it was to spot this laser as close as 10'. (Sunny day interior project). It was set on slowest rotation speed for maximum brightness.I decided to compare both, 150$ dewalt line laser with 550+ Cst rotary laser.Photo included. ( D-dewalt C-Cst).Unusable for the project I am currently working on.

This item met my expectations.
