Disc 1 - The Mummy (1999) Review: Highly enjoyable movies - I remember watching these when they first came out, absolotely brilliant mix of action, adventure, comedy and slight horror, imo perfect casting and the cgi was very good in that time period, i also thought they got the plot balance right especially in the first movie, I also thought the second movie was just as good, like a continuation of the first film, all be it on a bigger scale, it still managed to retain the magic of the first one, the third movie was also an enjoyable romp, but suffered from the recasting of the exellent Rachel Wise, thats no slight on Maria Bello who did a great job, but it is a distraction to try and adapt your brain to a character you had already bought into, especialy a main cast member.
