I love the cleaner and simplified ingredients and works just as well as the original to help itchy scalp. It doesn’t have a scent like the other which I like (less smell!). Using this 1-2x/week, this product lasts a long time and the new squeeze bottle is an upgrade too. Product works well, leave my hair and scalp feeling good and is a good price for what you get.

I like this Head and Shoulders shampoo because it has fewer ingredients and the scent is more pleasant than the original or some of the newer scents. It cleans my hair without drying it out. It was good value for two bottles, less than I could buy at the store. My hair is shiny and clean after shampooing and feels soft. The bottle size works well because it is not too big and does not have one of those pumps on top that I am not a fan of.

Head & Shoulders Bare is such an upgrade from the original. It feels gentler and better for you without all the extra additives. The 2-in-1 formula is super convenient and, unlike most combos, actually conditions well enough to leave my hair soft and manageable. It keeps my scalp healthy and free from dandruff while still working like a real shampoo and conditioner in one. In my opinion, the smell is better than the original.

Bought this for me and now my whole family uses it. Light scent and no crazy build up. No more crazy dandruff or itchy scalp.

CONTEXT: I used this for a little over 2 weeks. I wash my hair every day to every other day. My scalp is chronically dry with with occasional flareups of malassezia-caused dandruff. My hair is fine in texture but there’s a lot of it, and it is color treated and generally requires a detangler spray/gentle leave-in conditioner spray to feel smooth and healthy. PRO: scalp LOVES this stuff. Clean, happy, moisturized scalp with minimal flaking. CON: hair DESPISES this stuff. Like others, my hair became greasy and unmanageable very quickly. I did not have to use any detangler for the first week which was nice but I was very confused… and then my hair couldn’t take whatever was going on anymore and tipped into constant fill me greasy feeling hair. I ended up washing my hair again today after I took a bath, washed & rinsed, got out & rough dried then went straight to run errands and passed a mirror and went “why do my bangs look like they’ve not been washed all week???!? It’s been an hour!!” I used a clarifying shampoo when I got home and while my scalp is not as happy, my hair feels normal again.

I’ve used regular head and shoulders in the past and it made my hair dry and not so much on helping with my scalp either. This though has been great the itchy has slowed down a lot and no build up on my scalp. No thick areas that are raw underneath. Great price for great quality shampoo for those of us who have issues with dry scalp / psoriasis like symptoms.

I bought these since I am a fan of Head & Shoulders. I have used it for a really long time, and it actually does leave your hair flake-free. My hair does not feel dry, it works very well, and it is very effective, yet not harsh on the scalp. It is a great deal for the price compared to in-person stores.
