Good value and refreshing 🍺
A very reasonably priced canned bitter from Boddingtons. At £16 for 24 cans, it's much better value than buying from a supermarket - and I don't have to lug it home!A refreshing crisp bitter - great with food.Quick next-day Prime delivery too 😊 😃

It's so incredibly cheap that I cannot rate it below three stars.
Was this great beer? No.Was this a good beer? Not really. Was this a drinkable beer? Yes.It's a weak bitter. It's light on flavour and alcohol. What there is of a taste in it is actually okay (if you like standard bitter), but it's just very light and somewhat difficult to detect at times. If you buy this expecting a drink akin to the Boddingtons of old, you will be disappointed. It's currently owned by Budweiser corp., and maize has been used in the brew.It looks nice in the glass, and the draught-style head seems to form most of the time quite well. From this fairly negative review, it may seem suprising that I've awarded it three starts, but the reason for that is simple - it cost me slightly less that 64p per can.If you really just want a beer to relax with, and aren't too fussed about it being a great quality or exciting brew, then this actually fits the bill.It won't get you drunk, but it is reasonably refreshing, and it is beer. It's just so cheap that it's great for those who like a beer or two, but are strapped for cash. Will I be buying again? Probably not for a while, as I am lucky enough to be able to get better beers, but I might get some again at some point in the future, especially if the cost of living intensifies to the point that I have to cancel some of my brewery subscriptions.
