you’ll see these frequently returned, but I chalk that up to an impatient and unobservant consumer. make sure the led ribbon is trimmed squarely, be aware of pin / solder pad alignment, push ribbon and wires to the internal stop, and make sure the red (positive) wire is in the outmost hole - these are universal 4-pin connectors with on pin deleted. If you chose the wire hole without the terminal - it will not work As an added measure put a drop of super glue down the connections to insure everything stays put

Using these with fcob cct from btx. Each one had a bad connection.

The pins that you clamp down bend VERY easily causing a failed connection. Then I had to use another. Very frustrating.

Easy to install, not difficult. Just have to make sure that the. Contacts are completely depressed. It could make your lights flash. I’ve also gone back and re-seated some of the contacts, and the lights still flash. Not entirely sure what the root cause of that is, but I am a little under impressed with that part. Other than that, they’re pretty strong, so you won’t have to worry about bending or breaking it. Inconspicuous is probably my favorite part of them.

Its a great product if you know how to use it

The contacts bend too easily, and when that happens, it damages what it's connected to. In this photo, one contact did pierce part of a COB strip, and it was impossible to remove without ripping that contact point. This was a nicely fitted 2m section, and the damage means hand soldering, or placing a new section of COB strip. Both are expensive wastes of time, and resources, which I will never recoup. I am discarding this, and not returning it, because the effort to return it is worth far less than my effort in mitigating the damage.

2 issuues with any of the COB connectors: #1 they're not reusable. Make sure you clip it on right the first time or you will be cutting your strip short and wasting a connector. #2-be careful when pushing the pins in as they easily bend. Once the pins bend the connector is rendered useless.

They worked for I needed them for. All you need is scissors and pliers to cut and crimp your connectors. I wish you could buy the strip to strip connectors separately because I didn't need them.
