Good customer service.
Good customer service. I figured for the price I would take a chance. Unfortunately it wasn't working properly. Humidity sensor was off by about 4 percent and the coil was not getting cold enough and was only a few degrees less then the room temp. Customer service was fast to respond. I had sent pictures of temperature and humidity readings and they determined that it was not properly charged with refrigerant. They immediately sent a replacement. The replacement works great and I am using it in a 1000 sqft basement. What I like. It doesn't always have to run. It has a couple percent range above the set humidity point where it will kick back on and it turns off below a couple percent of the set humidity point. I have it on a crate and cut the hose and half and have it collecting in a 5 gallon carboy. It also uses a lot less electricty compared to the unit it replaced. A big bonus is the ionizer works great and does help clear the smell of the basement, and it is not because of the drop in humidity, because I ran the unit with just the ionizer and just the fan. What I don't like, it not a 4500 sq ft unit. Maybe if it was in a sealed open room with nothing in it at 90 F and 90% humidity it would probably bring it down to like 60-70 percent humidity. But for everyday real world use in the 70'sF range and its more like 1000 sq ft max and it is a tad slow to get to around 45% humidity. But once there is works good at maintaining the humidity. I attribute the slowness because of the compact coil design and fan size. So far so good.

Absolutely worth it! - Don't let the small size and price fool you.
This dehumidifier is an absolute powerhouse! We were skeptical that one small unit could make a difference in our 4,000-square-foot basement, but we were utterly wrong. It works like a charm, running quietly and keeping the entire space dry and comfortable. The setup was a breeze. We couldn't be happier with this purchase—it's a little unit that delivers huge results! As shown in the images, the humidity levels are excellent, with one side measuring 41% and the other 45%! From one unit. The self-drainage works well and must be lower than the unit, and pulled straight without dips.

Works Great & Priced Reasonably.
This item is good for a medium sized space and easy to use. As expected the water tank is small, but if you attach the house for continuous drainage you fine have to worry about emptying the daily water reservoir. Either way, it is easy to empty. It has helped the humidity levels in my home which helped with the humid smell. I also like that it has a cooling fan. As for the noise level, it sounds like a small fan, not very loud. The dehumidifier is a nice size and does not look like an eye sore; fits well and looks nice in the room. The cost for the product was affordable and actually ideal for its size and use.

Great and love the drain hose!
Love the drain hose, using in basement and it drains into our sump pump hole. Our basement was smelling musty, this dehumidifier has worked so well and the smell is gone!

Someone's not telling the truth.
Update at 1 year and a couple months: It is now junk. Coil freezes up and wont work. I have a Perfect Aire dehumidifier that quit working so I bought this one. I was able to get the Perfect Aire working again (don't know what was wrong with it). It's a 50 pint unit and measures 24x15x11 give or take a fraction of an inch. This new one is supposed to be a 70 pint unit and measures 22x12.5x9. How does a dehumidifier that is 2/3 the size of the old one do 30% more work? Has there been some great technological development in dehumidification that I'm not aware of? I don't see any alien technology inside of it. This unit is supposed to be good for 4500 square feet. Really? A 60x75 foot room? The fan in this thing is to small to even move the air necessary to do a room of that size. And how can you measure a dehumidifier in square feet? Shouldn't it be in cubic feet? But you know what? All the dehumidifier are saying stuff like this. Something is wrong in this business. It is removing water out of the air because it drips out the hose, so there's that. The little bitty bucket will need to be emptied hourly, (half hourly maybe). The rinky dink hose is mostly useless unless you park it over a drain, and I need it in living space where there is no drain. I added hose to it but it has to lay just right or it backs up into the bucket and then you have to empty it constantly. (see above). It exhausts right in your face when you are looking at the controls, because the designer never actually used the thing. It was cheap so I'll keep it and use it as a backup or secondary unit. Buyer beware. If you need a real dehumidifier try and find a real dehumidifier. Oh and one of the rating stars was for scent. Scent? what is that supposed to mean? The smell of new plastic? How about a noise rating? Or efficiency? Or something else that is useful. Scent? Kids these days. And it's always other peoples kids. ;)

Works but....did i get a lemon?
**updated see bottom***Have had this unit running a month now...Out of the boc after storing upright for the recommended time, the unit did lower the humidiry somewhat in the basement but with 3 flaws: #1 unit leaks even with using the drain hose the small catch bucket oddly still fills up with water at times over flowing a bit. Wierd how the drain hose does drain yet the catch bucket fills also. Perhaps i have a leak somewhere but this happened right out of the box. #2 unit runs non-stop never reaches my desired room setting indicating to me its under powered and not the advertised 70 pints removal/day. #3 display panel lcd when pressing the mode button down for 3 seconds to checck room humidity level shows 138% or another larger type #??? Not sure whats up there. I feel this unit would perform maybe better in a small room it is pretty quiet that said either i got a lemon no customer service # listed in poorly written manual...looks like i'm out $$$ and buying a better unit elsewhere. *ipdate* Seller reached out and offered replacement or refund for the issues i had. Appreciate their strong customer service.
