My World Advent Calendar 2024 - visit 24 countries, explore different cultures, create original Arts & Crafts from each country! Ages 9+

I bought this for my 11yo son as an advent calendar. Each day is a craft project about a foreign country. So far he’s done 8 days and each project has been interesting and creative. An accompanying booklet provides educational info about each days project and there’s also a QR code for each project to access video instructions. What I really like is that each day is organized into its own envelope with the relevant country’s name and flag on it and pretty much all the materials you need for each project are included in the envelopes. So my son is able to do this on his own without coming to me asking for paper etc. It comes with the materials you need. Highly recommend for any kids who like exploring other countries!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this product deserves one. The crafts are so fun and intricate. Good for about 8-11yrs old. Both my son and daughter love doing the crafts and learning about each country. Time for crafts vary from 10 minutes to an hour. The longer crafts were hard to get done on a school night but we finished them on other days. Each craft is so unique. There were only 2-3 crafts that were bland or not as fun, such as Italy or New Zealand. The rest were outstanding. Highly recommend this product!

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter as an advent calendar. Super fun idea, I love the idea of learning about new cultures and countries plus crafts!Once opened each country/day is individually wrapped in an envelope with its base supplies. You will need glue, a glue stick, tape and scissors. Comes with a small paper passport, with stickers for the countries flags and stamps.There are no instructions provided which I thought was kind of a bummer. You have to scan a QR code on each day's envelope to get a video instruction on how to do each craft. My phone isn't always great, and the video kept freezing which was frustrating. That is obviously a tech issue and not the actual product issue, but it would have been nice to have written instructions included for those who don't always have access to scan the code! Even just a picture sheet of what the craft should look like that is in each day's envelope as to not give away the surprise craft.

The booklet that explains the days is poor. The descriptions aren’t always accurate (Ukraine babuska doll day had a duplicate of Fiji fan) and the text is aimed at a much lower age than implied on the box— better for 5-8. No description of the craft is in the booklet — you have to follow a web link for those. The materials are otherwise good quality.

Incredibly impressed with the quality of the product and the activities! My 8 year old has been so busy doing these projects. I highly recommend this craft kit!

Great gift if you love simple crafts…the directions and the way each daily craft was packaged was beyond my expectation!!! Highly recommend! Easy to follow. Lots of variety. Loved the map and passport.

We’re only three days in and already having a blast with this kit! We don’t even have kids, my wife and I are doing it together.
