I bought 2 drones at Christmas for both my grandsons. The drones are well made, sturdy, and not complicated to maneuver. I had some questions and contacted the vendor. Surprisingly, I was able to make contact with a person who listened and helped to resolve the small issue. I would definitely purchase these drones again for my younger grands when they are ready for such an adventure. I want to add another word or two about the company. I mentioned that I'd had an issue with one of my grandson's drones. I reached out to the vendor, actually made contact with a person, but what I didn't mention was how they went above and beyond in making sure I and my grandchildren were happy with this purchase. When the vendor realized there was no easy fix to the problem, they, without any prompting from me - replaced my grandson's drones at no cost. That is almost unheard of. This company cared so much that they were determined to find a solution. I can assure you that if my grandson's want larger drones for Christmas 2024, I am searching this company's website first. They are awesome.

I bought this drone to inspect the roof of my home after a recent severe storm, but the app necessary for the camera to take video/pictures will not load on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra) which is running version Android 13. When trying to load the app, it gives an error message "This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android" See attached pic. There is no mention of this in the product description on Amazon. I've reached out to their tech support and they keep telling me they'll get back to me in 24 hours. This has been going on for 7 days now. I'll be returning this to Amazon. So if your phone is running Android 13 and you're looking for a toy to just watch it fly around, it's perfect. If you're looking for a drone that will actually shoot video/pictures,,,,, Well, it's useless. UPDATE... The seller did reach out to me and issued a full refund without returning the drone and promised to notify me when the app is updated to work with Android 13. I consider that VERY GOOD business practice! I'll update if I get app update.

I purchased this item for my child for Christmas, it is the only thing he has asked for. Sadly he lost control of the drone and it entered a heavily wooded area about 2-3 acres away. It has considerably great range and flying ability! I contacted the 24/7 support today (Christmas Day) they got back with me quickly and we were able to get a replacement drone.

I am pretty inexperienced with drones, but I've flown a few small ones before. The packaging was nice, and well packed. Setting up the drone was easy, and the included remote was intuitive. I was surprized at how small it was. It came with 2 batteries, which was nice. I did a few test flights inside to get an idea of how it handled before taking it outside. Trim controls could never dial this into a stable state, however, and the drone always drifted in one direction or another. This can't be used to hover in place unattended. Outside it was very easy to lose track of, because of its small size, and its short wifi range made it hard to control at the edge of its range. Battery life seemed very short, with only 5 to 10 minutes of continuous flight time. After my initial flights, I decided to hook it up to my smartphone to see if the video feed would improve the experience. This is where the trouble began. I have a Pixel 6 android, and the app in the app store stated it didn't work with my phone. There were about 5 other apps for this brand of drone, but none of them worked with this model. After doing more investigating, it seems that this company outsources its app development to one guy in china, who makes a separate dedicated app for each model or family of drones. So none of the apps on the app store that I could download would connect with this drone. That said, I was able to find the app in a second-hand app store and sideloaded onto my phone. After that I was able to connect to the drone just fine. Video feed from the drone was passable, but the clip on the controller is definitely design for smaller phones, as it had trouble holding onto my chonky pixel 6 with its case. I made a few more indoor test flights with the smartphone connected and was having a pretty good time, so I decided to take it outside again. This is where disaster struck. After taking off from my driveway and flying over the road, I attempted to take it down the street. It was not very long that it got out of range and began drifting with the wind. It didn't land itself after getting out of range, and I couldn't chase after it fast enough to prevent it from crashing into a tree. It is still somewhere in that tree, as I was unable to find it, and the battery ran dead so no lights or sounds could be heard to help locate it. This is all my own fault, so I don't fault the product for this. Definitely be careful and mindful of the range when you take it out. I gave it 3 stars for all the app trouble and the short battery life. The advertised price of 50 dollars seems a bit steep as well for the experience.
