4335 Humidifier Feed Tube Assembly with Compression Sleeve & Nut Compatible with Aprilaire Humidifier Models 400, 500, 600 Series Humidifier Parts & Accessories

Contrary to some other reviews, this was a perfect replacement. In fact the length was a few inches longer than my existing OEM install with the control valve situated on the side of the humidifier. I could have trimmed it a couple of inches. Photo shows the new part installed and I'm holding the old part.My existing tube had become brittle and cracked after 12 years. The replacement part was delivered within a couple of days and also contained the pre filter which was missing on my valve installation. Very happy with this service.

Worked perfectly. The water feed was exactly as described and identical to the original part. The problem of being too short must have been corrected because I had to shorten the tube for my Aprilaire 600. Great product!

Orifice would NOT remain in tube.Kept falling out due to water pressure.Was I supposed to glue it in? No instructions.I ended up using original tubing. At least orifice presses into that tube tightly.$18 is a lot of money to pay for a tiny plastic orifice since the rest of this is useless.

This product was advertised as compatible with 500 series Aprilaire humidifiers. Unfortunately, the piece of tubing provided was 8 to 10 inches shorter than the tube it was to replace on my 560 humidifier. I decided to replace all the other parts (compression nut, compression collar, and flow restrictor), while continuing to use the existing tubing. This would be a fantastic kit if the tubing was long enough to allow, with adjustment as needed, for all models.

Had to replace the solenoid on my aprilaire 500. Since I had to disconnect anyways so decided to replaced it. If you have hard water prob a good idea to do it. The only complaint might be is its a little shorter than the original. But was able to make it work no problem
