Great value for a first time standing desk
After clearing out space in my room, I finally decided that I was going to treat myself to a standing desk for a change. I had done a lot of research to find what was worth getting for the best value, and kept coming across this desk. Although I was sceptical at first, I decided to make the purchase. I'm more than happy with what I got. A lot of the time, I find myself in situations where I wish the desk were slightly lower or higher when using my computer. I can do that with ease using the height-adjust system, quickly going from sitting at the desk to a more aligned posture and less strain on my back. What makes it more convenient is that, in addition to being able to raise it to allow me to be at the desk standing comfortably, it also makes getting access under the desk to either do cable management or to get to boxes that I might have stored underneath easier to get to, and not having to bang my head much underneath. I opted for the 180 x 110cm after measuring how much room I had to work with, and it has been great to have so much space that I can easily fit my whole setup, as well as extra bits like my music equipment, without feeling cluttered. When it came to assembling the desk, I found the instructions clear and understandable, and managed to finish it myself. I can say that I love that they had all the entry points for the screws clearly marked to know where I needed to screw everything together and make it nice and secure. The desk's material feels nice and secure, and for stability, I have found it very secure with little to no wobble, which was a big concern for me when deciding on a standing desk. For my first standing desk purchase, I discovered what makes these desks so great: having both standing and sitting modes makes it easy to change height quickly. This feature helped me find a more comfortable setup. It’s also easier to access under the desk and manage cables. The price I paid—£209.99, reduced by a £70 voucher from £279.99—was more than worth it. My friends and family have been impressed with both its performance and design. A friend even ordered one for himself after seeing how well it worked. The availability of multiple sizes was a key benefit, as he needed a smaller one and appreciated having options.

Good electric standing desk
I've been looking for a standing desk for a while and took a gamble with this one. I liked the four legs (most standing desks have two legs) and the low price. I looked at a couple of Ikea desks but they were more expensive and lacked a vital feature that I wanted. I wanted a "standing" and "sitting" button since I really didn't like having to hold the up and down buttons when I tested desks in Ikea. Assembly is fine. I did it myself (alone). It would be easier with another pair of hands but it can be done by one person. There aren't too many parts in the (heavy) box since the top comes in two parts (some desktops come in four parts). It took me around an hour to assemble it once I had everything out of the box. Once assembled it's very stable laterally and front to back. Some (many?) desks with two legs wobble. I wanted four legs for stability but also because the desk is in my living room/kitchen (I live in an apartment) and four legs looks nicer than two. I've been asked if it was difficult to assemble the motors but you don't assemble the motors. Each motor is part of each half of the frame. You simply join the frames and the motors are good to go. The control panel has five buttons: up, down, sit, stand and reset. It's very easy to program your preferred heights for sitting and standing. The desk is quiet when operated. I've given it five stars because of its price. But there are some niggles. The buttons on the control panel aren't the most responsive. They work but you have to press and hold for a second or two (or three). Maybe this is deliberate to prevent accidental touches but it's frustrating at times. Also, the supplied top (which come in two parts) is basic. There's nothing wrong with it but it has a basic white veneer. If you're looking for a fancy top, look elsewhere. My final niggle is the speed of the motors (there are two motors, which is unusual on a cheap desk) is so-so. I thought it was a little slower than the Ikea desks I tested. There is no collision detection (which stops height adjustment when an obstacle is detected). The height adjustment is fine. I'm 5'9 and it can go much higher than I need. The minimum height is OK but not as low as some (fine for my needs). The desk comes with a three year guarantee for the motors and one year for the frame and top. Some desks have much longer guarantees. The frame and top feel robust so I won't lose sleep over the limited guarantee. I didn't like the idea of the top coming in two halves but it's OK. The split is down the middle where my keyboard and monitor sit so the line is barely noticeable. Many cheap desks come with tops in three or four parts so this one is better (and easier to assemble). Overall, I'm pleased with it. I knew when I ordered it that it wasn't top of the range but I wasn't willing to spend £600-800 for a superior desk. It's better than I expected for what I paid. I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you, like me, want to try-out an electric standing desk. All in all, it's five stars given the ease of assembly, build quality, features and price. But get yourself a ratchet screwdriver and bit-set to speed up assembly (it comes with very basic tools). UPDATE: The control panel appears to go to sleep when not used so I've discovered it's best to press the button twice (once to waken, once to carry out the action) rather than holding it down. This is only necessary when you've not used the control panel for a while.

Very strong "Desk/Table, with electric adjustment for height is very nice indeed.
Used for my two PC's with large 4K screens. I am disabled, so the electric height adjustment is really useful & works very well, smooth & silent. It's construction is not as easy as I would have expected, with some of the images being pretty confusing, but a bit of experimentation + common sense soon resolved those issues. The electric height adjustment is excellent, smooth and silent, and infinitely adjustable. My only criticism other than the hex tool provided is the overall weight. It is a heavy desk for sure. Perhaps some use of aluminum would have been a good idea in the frame, but it is very sturdy in design and execution. Overall a good value for money desk that is exactly as described in the amazon entry.

Beim Sitzen in meinem Fall null.
