I’m not an electrician and have very little experience with tools like this, so my review comes from a beginner’s perspective. For the price, the DOWELL 10-22 AWG Wire Stripper Cutter is surprisingly good!I used it to install a new bathroom light and found it very easy to strip cables without any hassle. The spring has excellent springback, making it effortless to press down without requiring much force. Unlike some other tools, this one doesn’t get stuck in the closed position, which is a big plus.If you’re looking for an affordable and reliable wire stripper for light DIY projects, I highly recommend this one!

Bought these to use for my miniature houses that I put together they really help to make the battery operated lamps for the ceilings and cut the wires accurately so there’s no waste. Works every time..

Why did you choose this product over others?:I wanted a basic wire stripper which actually worked. This one does despite not having extra features like crimping options etc. cheap but effective

I was a little worried about these as the value for money is so high - but they are very good for the occasional electrical jobs I get as a musician and DIY homeowner. These are excellent for those jobs. You need both sizes as you'll find jobs that need the very size you don't have - these cover all sizes from very small to a reasonable kinda 1/8" cable or inner shielding. If you want to use these a couple of times a week they should be good - but not for an electrician using them every hour.

These are easy to use and work well for stripping wires. The only criticism would be that the long straight-edge 'sheering' section of the cutters is slightly out of line and doesn't cut cleanly at the point nearest the wire-stripping section.
