I got the square version where the little strainer is one single-colored plastic piece rather than a two-part two-colored construction. I saw many reviews of the two-colored one saying it came apart so I didn't want to deal with that hassle. I can confidently say that the single-colored one is working just fine to keep my night guard in. I store it in hydrogen peroxide and it's the only thing that's gotten that funky mouth taste off the darn thing no matter how hard I've tried keeping it clean prior to this point. In fact, I liked it enough that my fiance asked for one of his own and he's now saying the same thing. Rinse any peroxide off your guard before putting it in your mouth and rise any mouth off your guard before putting it in your peroxide and it should last you a week or so before needing to be emptied and refilled. Some people here are lamenting the fact that this isn't a "travel case" because it spills when tipped on its side. To those people I would say: please don't travel with loose liquids sloshing about to begin with. The travel case label is there due to its size, not due to its ability to be tipped over in a suitcase. I wouldn't recommend doing that. My one quibble is that the bottom of this case is quite smooth and slippery. I wish it had some sort of rubberized grip on the bottom to keep it from sliding around while opening the lid. I am sensing an inevitable future spill and so am looking to invest in little rubber grip stickers from the hardware store soon.

The jar does not leak, it has a mirror for installing and removing the partials. It has a plastic hook that really works to assist removing partials. It has a brush that I have no use for yet. I unscrew the lid and lift the strain tray and lay my partials and fill with water, drop a cleaning tab in and lower teeth in and close to soak. Close and no leaks. I have it in pink so it is adorable and perfect for this girly girl to travel with. I recommend highly!!!

I have three sets of retainers that I keep in this denture bath, and it makes cleaning/storing them much easier. I recommend getting this since it is compact and makes having my retainers on the counter less of an eyesore.

TLDR: Pull tool is AMAZING. Case is great. I don't travel with it, only leave it on my counter to clean my aligners, but I haven't had any issues with it. ---------- I use this every single day to clean my aligners, and the pull tool is absolutely invaluable. When I first got my aligners, they seemed impossible to pull out and I always felt like I was going to break a nail (my nails are very normal, not long) trying to get them off my teeth. Having the pull tool included with the holder/case was something I didn't know I needed. I also asked my dentist if they had ever seen tools like this and they were surprised to find out they existed. I hated putting my fingers in my mouth to get my aligners off, and the pull tool solved this problem for me! I keep it in my aligner case at all times so I am never without it. I don't ever fill it up with liquid and put it in a bag to travel with it, but I filled it up with water, put the lid on and shook it a bit, and it didn't seem to leak at all.

Love the pink color and the look. Very cute on my bathroom vanity. More to the point, it’s very useful for cleaning my night guard. My night guard is not very heavy so the removable strainer sometimes rises up on one side as if straining to float. It’s not a problem though. I hoped it might be good to take on a trip, but it’s a bit bulky for that. And if I did take it, it would have to be empty of water because it’s not leak-proof. So if what you need is something to keep at home, it’s a good buy.

Excellent, easy to use, super cute too

So this product is small and has the removal tool in the top which is super useful. It will absolutely leak even if u tighten it down, so I took off one star. The other star I took off because the tray will not sit flush with the bottom of the jar. It's always lopsided which is kind of annoying, and I have to poke down my aligners to make sure they stay under the water. Overall, it works and I don't hate it. Design needs just a little work.

This is easy to carry around. Water doesn't spill.
