Redcat Racing Everest GEN7 Pro 1/10 Scale RC Rock Crawler – 4WD RTR RC Truck with Realistic Scale Accessories, Waterproof Electronics, Battery & Charger, Green RC Crawler

I have had traxxas products, RGT, WLtoys, DEERRC but this Red Cat Everest is my favorite. My Traxxas slash hates it because of all the attention it gets lol. But for the price your getting a great crawler only thing Traxxas in my opinion has on it is portal axles on TRX4 and that’s not worth the 250$ price difference you can get portals for the red cat as well. Everything on it is well built the body is super strong and lots of upgrade potential. So far I have done nothing but cosmetic upgrades (lights,accessories) because the power on it is perfect for a crawler. I have 2s lipos but I still haven’t tried them cause the NIMH batteries are good enough. I have taken it on 2 mile hikes lasting good hour and made it entire way on one battery. Biggest perk is you never have pick it up unless you roll it, it makes it over almost any obstacle as long as it’s wheels can touch to pull it over. I have done everything from mud, rock crawls, water crossings, snow and grass and handles great in everyone. In few months pushing this thing the only thing that broke was screw fell out of servo horn. Found it added a washer never had problem since. Overall I think it’s best crawler for the price you can buy. Even if you put in 200$ Worth of upgrades you still haven’t paid as much as a TRX4 but bet it’s gonna perform better then TRX4 after those upgrades.

After 2 years, this car is still running. It is incredibly durable and fun to drive. I've had many cars, most of which broke within months and required costly repairs. This one has worked great and the only thing I needed was a $20 driveshaft off ebay, because I kept trying to do wheelies with the car. I modified it by taking most of the stuff off the roof rack to make it more stable, but other than that, no other modifications. I had some 2S LiPo batteries left over from previous cars and they run remarkably well with it. Today I was able to get over an hour of crawling on a 3000 Mah battery. The range on the car is also very good, I was able to control it well over what is needed to run it. I recommend taking out the hinge mechanism and replacing it with velcro, I used some adhesive to keep it on good. My friend recently bought a traxxas slash and we have been driving the cars almost every day. To conclude, this is a very capable and fun to drive rc car. If you are looking for a beginning crawler, a durable rc car, or a Traxxas Trx4 on a budget, this is the car for you!

This is a decent truck, we loved all the extras it came with. The tires, wheels, fenders, and bumpers are great. It's not an Axial or Traxxas but its pretty good and has its own perks. It will need a few upgrades and replacement parts as it's not as strong as our other 9 trucks. It will crawl, not as well as some others. But there are a few obstacles this can do no problem. I think RedCat needs to do a different motor as this one is pretty fast for a crawler and a better steering servo. Most trucks have the steering servo issue though. This is a great price as comparable trucks in other brands are $100-$200 more. And those trucks do not come with all these accessories and most have glued wheels. I wish it came Lipo, that's my only big complaint but that's my complaint with most trucks. Lost a start because the body came severely cracked. I wish stock bodies were sold so we could have replaced it because it's a great body.

I never do reviews, but this one deserves it! Awesome for the money! I only wish it turned tighter for crawling.

Bought this for my 6 year old and he’s so happy he takes it everywhere. I bought another battery so we have two and both last 40ish mins. The wires that connect the motor to the esc, i think, got wedged on top of the motor and melted. User error. Reconnect and all good. Runs super strong through everything my kid throws at it. He’s even ran it into a lake!

Worthe every penny this truck is awesome even for the first time rock crawler already looking for another one....great craftsmanship

Totally impressed with this truck. Comes with everything you need to start and you can customize from there. I painted the gear on the roof rack (which is all red) to more realistic colors, and also replaced the faux running lights with working headlamps. (There are two extra ports on the receiver for accessories.) If I could think of one criticism, it would be that the steering isn’t quite as tight as I prefer. (The recommended radius without potentially damaging the servo is a bit wide than I like.) Otherwise, this is well worth the money. Very pleased with my purchase.

Bodies crooked, steering is terrible. Had to contact redcat constantly, as they sent me a new steering servo and controller to help the steering, the servo horn busted on it then they said i had it on the wrong way. I put it back on the way it was on when I recieved the truck. Redcat then sent me 2 other servo horns and one snapped ad soon as I put it on the way recat told me to and the other one doesn't work with my truck.

Je suis content de mon achat et très surpris de partout où il peut aller le 4x4 est fort pour grimper les roche la neige la boue et les pente la batterie je les tester et sans rouler la gâchette dans le font pis plus rouler normal et de le faire travail j'ai faite environ 1h et m'en restais encore robuste dommage qu'il est pas de lumière qui Vien avec mais m'en suis acheté pour en installer dessus b au camion pour jeune adulte qui vx avoir du fun dehors !

Decent affordable crawler with great battery life. Only issue with it is that you need to reassemble the bumpers and lift the suspension (optionally) to get a good clearance. The charger is another con, It came with a 120v American plug.

Segundo Gen 7 ahora la version pro, definitivamente la mejor opcion si buscas balance entre calidad-precio, solo le falta tener portal axles de stock, bueno aunque para eso esta el Gen 8 o el kit para Gen 7
