Quality drafting implement
This review is for the ULTECHNOVO T Ruler. Yes, I read the product description but I have a hard time envisioning size and dimensions. The ruler part of the T square is 18 inches long. I am not an architect, nor do I have an architect's table. I make do with a small desk space that is shared with a keyboard, two keyboards actually. I should explain why I wanted a T square in the first place: in his book Architectural Graphics (available on Amazon) Francis D. K. Ching advises to use a T square for vertical letter forms. In my old age I am trying to improve my handwriting before I go senile. I am trying my best to emulate Ching's beautiful writing style, which was the basis of the Adobe Tekton Pro typeface. Alas for me, 18 inches is awkwardly long. Entirely my problem, not a fault of the ULTECNOVO T square. The T square itself is beautifully made, clear acrylic with legible black markings. Both inches and centimeters. The T is detachable and the supplied storage bag has separate sections for the ruler and the T so that they do not get scratched. Five stars.

Bulky
At first I thought this could work for my purposes taking a drafting class for fun but now that I’ve tried to use it a few times I do not recommend. It is quite bulky and the T part sits too high off the paper. I had to put together the T-square by attaching the black piece to the ruler. The inches are upside down and the ‘n’ in the word inch is backwards. It all measures fine though and comes with a nice storage bag.

Ruler isn't flat
Like the ability to see through to the drawing underneath but the ruler isn't flat! It bows so much a triangle can slide under it. Trying to see if I can bend it back flat but no luck so far. If there hadn't been a problem with the initial delivery, I'd return it but I don't want them to think I'm trying to cheat them.

If you’re hoping to draw a straight line
When I went to use this t-Square, I found it odd that it didn’t line up with my original measurements, so I compared it to my 30 inch metal t-square. It’s completely out of alignment, making it impossible to draw a straight line. I am returning it

Plastic T-Square
This is a plastic T-square. I don't know about you, but I am just not good at drawing straight lines, and nothing beats a T-square. This one does the job perfectly! I like that it is just the right size for drawing and craft and sewing projects and is transparent, yet seems sturdy. It is great value for money.
