Incredible working orrery designed by JK Brickworks
It’s so hard not to be in awe of this block model. It’s a working model of the solar system designed by JK Brockworks, someone whose designs I’ve liked many times over. The instructions are easy to follow, but challenging none-the-less. This is simply because of how many steps there are, with the instructions being broken out into two booklets. While the parts are in numbered bags, it seemed like most of them went into the 6 bags labeled “2”. This added to the difficulty in assembling the model. While the quality of the bricks overall was high, the plates did seem to be inferior and didn’t fit well together for me. The included stickers (of the months) were not as nice as I’d hoped. But overall, I’m ecstatic about this model and loved building it!

Incredibly detailed, great design
I've built my share of building sets - OK, I've built a lot of peoples' shares of sets. This orrery was something I've wanted to build for a long time!I'm kind of blown away by the intricacy of the mechanism, but it goes together so easily, and the instructions are very well laid out. There was an annoying issue with how the bagged the parts for sections 2-3, but it wasn't too confusing once I realized it.Stickers are always a pain, but these went on well and look good. The sun and earth were a nice, easy build, too.Once assembled, it works so well. It shouldn't be too hard to add a power unit, but it's fun to turn the crank and watch everything move. This is a great build, and very enlightening to someone learning gears and this kind of engineering. It's a fantastic gift idea for a student, teen or adult.

Outstanding!
I adore this solar system working block model by Sunhabi!Beautifully manufactured, flawless on arrival and consisting of hundreds of parts this working solar system model is lovely. Building space items with this style of blocks is a hobby of mine and I could not resist this model. The individual parts are very well made and lock together well. The block colors are excellent. The instructions and blocks are divided into two parts both labeled 1&2 as building organization.I have started construction of this model and will update on completion but I am overjoyed with it already. The instructions could be illustrated more clearly, the diagrams are difficult for my eyes to make out and the instructions can be confusing at times but I am working through construction and this one element to me is not enough to detract from how marvelous this model is and will be.I am very, very, very happy with this item---thank you!

Missing pieces
Cool looking set and seems to be good quality just like Lego but Unfortunately, my son (age13) spent four hours or so building this set only to have two essential pieces missing. Cannot crank or spin the solar system around. I also have to pay $1 to have it returned??? Also have 22 misc. parts/pieces left over.

Sooo close
I had high hopes for this set when I opened the box. Numbered bags, instructions with extra trivia details, basically the kinds of things you’d find with a Lego collector set. And yet it wasn’t to be. More about this set.- Numbered bags. There’s only 2 numbers and the split between groups isn’t all that logical. What you’re left with is a whole whack of little and big pieces when going through set one. Only marginally better than no groupings at all.- Instructions. They try but the colors are so dark that it’s quite hard to see what goes where. That said they do give size guides for proper rod piece selection.- sturdiness. The month ring is very delicate while the gear mechanism is reasonably solid.- Build difficulty. This is definitely an adult oriented set. To boot tear down and rebuild if a piece is placed incorrectly is darn near impossible. I’ll get to this more in a bit.- Function. The gear works and that’s pretty cool.- Piece quality. Pretty good actually. Not Lego but not junk either.I tried to build this with my 8 yo and that just didn’t go well. Near tue end of the build he took over and put something together wrong. I’m not sure where but the tear down and rebuild is virtually impossible due to how the set rods are done so I think I’m stuck with a burned kit. Ugh.Still if you like the set are willing to deal with the virtually bagless build and have the patience to weed through the overly dark instructions the final model is pretty neat.

Excellent Design (JK Brickworks), Solid execution ... but a few major parts problems.
Packaging : The set comes in a CADA Master box containing numbered bags (1-3), stickers, and instructions.Instructions : The instructions are clear and well printed, to the usual CADA standard. There is a bit of a strange thing ; bags numbered 1 are phase "A" of the build, and bags numbered 2 and 3 are both for phase "B" - but not in sequence.Parts quality : ON THE OVERALL, the parts are of a high quality. I had two malformed parts ; a malformed 2x6 block and a not fully moulded 2x4 plate. Fortunately, I was able to work around these issues using parts from my bin, but it has to be noted that the 2x4 shouldn't have slipped through basic quality inspection. The 2x6's issue is *very* subtle, but it prevents it from being used, so I can understand it slipping through.Set design : It's a complex mechanism, but it works and it works well. What you see is honestly what you get.Overall thoughts : CADA makes good parts. JK Brickworks is a designer I am very familiar with, and he makes incredible designs. The combination is a really good kit, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
