Brilliant drill bits

A superb fit for purpose drill bit. It made 100mm deep holes in dense brick with relative ease (using a hammer drill). No fall off in performance for 8 holes. It has three raised metal lugs along the end of the shank that fit between the jaws of the drill chuck to prevent any slippage when drilling in hard materials. Clever piece of design, and useful to boot!

Bought these as my old set no longer work well on brick - these do. A little pricey, but you pay for better quality. Too early to comment on longlevity, but so far so good.

A good drill bit

I have used these for a few years, and found them to be the best in regards to longevity. My biggest test was putting battens onto concrete blocks for a dry wall project. Lots of drilling, and we burned through quite a few bits I had in my toolkit, but these bosch ones were the best as they lasted the course. I've used them in concrete blocks, light blown blocks, bricks and concrete, they work well. Note the pro ones have the green/blue paint in the recesses, there are also low quality, lower price options from Bosch that don't have the paint. I bough the Amazon set when they were on special, much better deal than buying them individually at full price, and a similar price for cheap, non-brand ones from most DIY stores, where they tend to be made out of cheese. My biggest tip is not to let any drill bit get too hot, and one of the biggest causes is the dust from the drilling. So stop frequently and pull the bit out to get the dust out, and then restart drilling.

Initially when I tried to drill into external brickwork and it didn't work, I thought there was an issue with the actual drill. Even using the hammer mode was of no use. It was not until later I realised that it was the actual drill bits (I did previously use masonry drill bits but no joy). I decided to take the hit and purchase these drill bits and boy was it a good investment. Not only did I manage to drill the external holes without any effort, I didn't even need to use the hammer mode (which can make a racket!!). All in all, a great purchase. Hopefully they'll help you as well

Use it daily for electrical work real champ of a drill bit, you won't regret buying this

The drills are excellent in drilling concrete as long as you use a mains drill not very good using battery drill

Fungerar bra i dem flesta material. Det enda jag tyckte att den var lite svårare att styra trä. Super i betong och stål, alu, tunt rostfritt stål.
