This was my son’s favorite Christmas gift! The box say it’s for ages 14 and up. He is almost 10 years old and I feel like it’s safe for him and he can operate it himself just fine. It was an amazing value for the enjoyment we’ve gotten out of it. He can send it up again and again and we’ve not had issues with the battery running low before he’s ready to stop playing with it. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. They say the battery is good for 40 launches but we have only sent it up maybe 15 times in a day. I love that it has two settings for launch height. You can send it up high or *really* high. It has a pretty parachute that’s brightly colored and easy to see. You do need to be careful that you don’t launch it when the wind is blowing since the wind can carry it pretty far. A slight breeze did cause it to go into the branches of a maple tree in our yard one time and it took some patience but we finally got it to come down and the parachute was just fine so I feel like it’s a durable rocket. The parachute doesn’t always open up fully (maybe it’s tangled in the strings) so sometimes it comes falling to the ground a little forcefully but it’s always done fine with the impact. To launch it, you turn the rocket on and press the launch button twice. It starts spinning and gives ample time for everyone to back away before takeoff. It charges pretty quickly and has a red indicator light that comes on when charging and turns off when fully charged. I would totally recommend this product and am so glad I gave it to my son!

This thing is awesome! It shoots so high in the air. It did get stuck in the tree once but we got It down. Such a fabulous gift for a great price! My 3 year old is obsessed!

Yes it does work and it’s a lot of fun. Grandkids loved seeing it soar and run to retrieve it. Primly the best tech toy I bought in years. We launched a dozen times without having to recharge. Needs big open space for best fun.

This is a super rocket. It was so fun to watch although the 4th time my grandson set it off....It went in a tree 😟. Way to high for us to retrieve. Such a disappointment. He really liked it. Great product though.

I highly recommend this rocket toy! It flies like crazy! My son loves it! Must use in a big field with no trees near by- it goes so high that it’ll get stuck quick. It’s surprisingly durable! A great gift for a preteen boy or girl who loves outside play.

I bought this for my 4 year old hoping that he would be able to do this with little help!! First thing to know set up is super simple, and the battery does not take that long to charge at all. VERY EASY to operate!! Turn on Rocket with simple on off switch, set on launch pad, press launch button and wait 2-3 seconds, propelller will start to spin for a couple seconds then BLAST OFF!! It goes REALLY HIGH!! gets to maximum height then out pops the nose cap and parachute deploys and floats safely down to the ground. Battery life is amazing!! We got 10-12 launches and could have had more but we got cold and came in. The only bad thing would be it is very light and it doesn't take much for the wind to take it. Make sure you are in a wide open space, this Rocket it NOT designed for backyard in town use, you will lose it in the tree first launch! I give this rocket a 10 Star rating for ease of use, durability, and function!! I am actually buying a second for my 3 year old! You will be happy don't hesitate to buy!!

This is a great toy. Kids and adults will love it. Made well, but it will wear out after 100 launches. (totally got our money's worth) We have replaced it 3 times now, but don't be deterred, it is a great toy. Cost of rocket is worth the fun. Our grandchildren take turns launching it, squealing with delight as it blasts off and running happily to the landing. They love reloading the parachute themselves. Hours of fun in the park.
